Guys PMDG has made it clear there will be no licensed forum due to added demand of mod's and they have their own support portal.

Bandwidth isn't a concern???? Let's talk about that after PMDG releases the NG.
Sorry, Tom. I didn't mean to put off that bandwidth isn't a concern at all. Judging by the responses these update threads have been getting (especially those with pictures), bandwidth will be is concern, but I would think it's more on your end than theirs. I could be wrong, but my inclusion of "of the company" was meant to say that it's not PMDG's servers that would be handling the forum traffic, so it's not of their direct concern....and hello, from a fellow Virginian.

Licensed NGX forum? I think that would eventually cause a mess -increased work load- for the moderators.

Well level D does it with one main moderator. Daryl. There are 40,000+ members on that forum, go figure.

Look at the bright side, You can plan for the best with great expectations and at the same time try to keep the worst things from happing on the low. What PMDG does works and I can't complain. :(

Level D is an excellent example of a developer that uses private forums to hide their product's flaws.

No flaws with my copy, care to elaborate? Daryl and many users there are very helpful to those who don't yet have the product or have not yet fully registered, 30 day money back guarentee means a user can decide for themselves if a product has flaws without risk of any financial loss. Level D is just one example. The GEX and iFly teams also have a similar system, i guess its standard for some Flight1 products?

LMAO, are you kidding me! Please someone lock this thread. It's bordering on the idiotic now.

I believe that the forum automatically censored A*******r with Level D for some reason. Must be a glitch because it normally does it with asterisks, as with my post.
