July 29, 201114 yr Hi Helge: Hope you are right, really need Linda for NGX. Regards, Rich Rich Sennett
July 29, 201114 yr Commercial Member Half of the LINDA funtions were made keeping in mind the future NGX release and that we will need to make a module for it as fasf as possible. :-) So defenitely YES - we will create the NGX module. I really have no idea what PMDG will make behind the scenes and if we be available to gather LUA variables etc etc...We will see .... August 2, 201114 yr Go first ask PMDG when they'll release the NGX Okey, will they need the SDK of pmdg 737ngx to make the module __________________________________________________________________ Computer: Windows 10, 64-bit, Intel i9 - 10850K, Asus Rog MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI), 32GB RAM, Asus RTX3070Game control: Home Cockpit, Keyboard, Saitek Pro Flight X56 Rhino H.O.T.A.S.
August 2, 201114 yr Is the difficult to make new modules in linda? __________________________________________________________________ Computer: Windows 10, 64-bit, Intel i9 - 10850K, Asus Rog MAXIMUS XII HERO (WI-FI), 32GB RAM, Asus RTX3070Game control: Home Cockpit, Keyboard, Saitek Pro Flight X56 Rhino H.O.T.A.S.
August 3, 201114 yr Author Well, the difficult part is not Linda, its the plane. Its not possible to gauge how easy it is until we see the plane and its SDK Helge Rasmussen
August 3, 201114 yr Just to clear things a bit: LINDA isn't a wizzard tool where you can make modules for any addon you like.LINDA just makes it a lot (!) easier to hunt and gather LUA variables, control numbers etc. But in the end it depends on how the addon is programmed!Every developer has its own style and it could also be, that we a very unlucky and the NGX uses a kind of new code we can't access with LUAs etc.But with a look at the JS41 I think they tend to use more LUA instead of less, so I think positive about it. Very important would be that we could be able to synchonise the MCP displays with the VRInsight Combo. We'll see what happens this week ... I can promise that we try to develop as fast as possible a new module for the NGX!
