( that is the reason right? :( )Reason I posted the question was because a couple of hours before, everyting was as per normal as it has been.I did not see any warning notice of a scheduled shut-down or the fact that look was going to be changed.I'm sure I'm not the only one who got caught out with the shut-down or the new look. July 28, 201114 yr Moderator I was in the middle of writing a very long and detailed reply to a question that'd been asked in the Panel and Gauge Design forum... ...the entire reply was vaporized just as I hit the Post button! For a few moments I sat silently, totally stunned and even wondered briefly if somehow I had been responsible for blowing up the system... :( That has happened to me a time or two myself and is really frustrating. However, as insurance against that happening, any long posts I type now, I copy and paste them into a temporary .txt file then hit the post button.
