PMDG freezes coding on the NGX...

I'm going to be kinda depressed after the release. :( The build up and the anticipation, seeing all those screenshots for the first time and realising just how detailed the NGX would be, hearing about all the brilliant features to be included; it was all quite exciting. Now I'll have nothing to look forward to, it's like after you've opened all your presents on Christmas morning. I'll just have to fly my sorrows away in my new (used) airplane :)

You won't be depressed after release. smile.png I've had my hands on the NGX for about three weeks now, and I'm still loving every second just as much as I was at the start. Recently finished up a KATL-KTLH flight, disconnected the AP and AT, turned off the FD, used the HUD in VMC mode and hand flew her in. Hand flying the NGX with the HUD is probably the most fun I've ever had in flight sim. Still not old, and I don't think it will any time soon.

I'm very much looking forward to the HUD flying experience... Very much indeed. That and playing around with the systems on the ground. Go ahead, tell them everything's A okay so I can get my greedy paws on it.

seriously....why do people keep saying the ngx isnt going to be any different from the ifly? Obviously the ngx is going to blow the ifly out of the water.
Relax, the iFly is the only measurable means to compare it to. The NGX will blow it out of the world and everyone will forget about the iFly.

lol I can say we agree. The problem though is that its starting to become a litle funny seeing some people actually think that the ifly is a better simulation. You on the other hand are a smart person and dont think that. I sound like a a really excited user and by any means I am not.

They say it is better because they haven't flown the NGX

i can understand that. However, those people can see the videos and pictures and can reason that the fidelity is on a much higher level than the ifly. Its not like its a secret tbat is only let loose once its in yojr hands. The only thing the ifly users argue is the price point difference. What i say to that is that you wont get a ferarri if you pay for a chevy.

Totally agree with you. The iFly is not bad...for now. I guess it is the only one we can use for now but please, when this plane is released, iFly will be history. But anyway, let's not ruin the mood of the hopefully soon intended release :)

Yes, I agree, I only fly the iFly cause its the only one that's worth flying but when I get the NGX, bye bye iFly :)
