July 31, 201114 yr That's something that I'd like to know too. Maybe this is what Ryan was talking about when he stated that there'll be some recomendations at documentation. Gabriel Gabriel
August 1, 201114 yr how to make very very clean uninstall+ install ? preparing for NGX Run all the uninstallers for all your addons, manually delete any files/folders still remaining, run a good registry cleaner. I prefer cclean, it's free, very safe & very effective. Then reboot & you're ready for the installations.my edit button isn't working...meant to say for all your addons AND FSX... I believe what Ryan mentioned was a tweaking guide, helping to find the optimum settings & such. It may start with a clean install, I dunno... August 1, 201114 yr I don't understand why clean install, do you do that for every single addon? Ljubomir Prodanovic Lj. Prodanovic

It's been a while for me so I probably will too. I'm also doing away with a few addons, so it makes sense. August 1, 201114 yr Commercial Member http://support.precisionmanuals.com/KB/a87/how-to-uninstall-and-reinstall-fsx.aspxI don't recommended doing this unless you're having problems though... there is no requirement to have a clean installed FSX for the plane. August 1, 201114 yr Like many others, I install FSX on a separate harddisk. Not the one Windows is installed on. All addon install files e.g. are on a External Backup Harddisk. So if I want to install a clean FSX, I simply can format my FSX Harddisk :) Regards, Harm Swinkels

Always uninstall first. Jay Vorkapic
