Well about 30 minutes in and all i can say is that so far this aircraft is beyond compare. I have them all; the PMDG 747, MD-11, Level-D but this thing is a step change in flight simulation. The autopilot is flawless and hand flying is a total treat. The graphics are hands down the best for any aircraft i have seen in FSX. I really don't know what else to say. I guess i better work on picking my jaw up from the floor........................ Matt Thierens

I totally agree about your impressions I have the same feelings. I loved hand flying this plane, the last plane I've hand flown that acted this, how can I describe it, right, or correct, in just everything especially trimming it out and it holding in trim, only plane I can compare it to is well, no FS plane, it compares to the real world flying I've done. Flown cherokee 180 and tomahawk no big planes but it still is the same kind of feel. Really amazing job PMDG, can't wait to really put this plane through its paces this weekend.

well i would say they are on a par with the Level-D 767. considering the definition of the textures they are very good. Either way, there's no chance that you'll be dissappointed

The sound is spot on, i work up at east midlands airport and im around the 737 alot. SOUND IS 1000000% accurate..

Matt, Have you tried using the HGS and hand flying an approach yet? Nothing better than having just the HGS screen in your view, without the FD, AP, or AT systems on, and gracefully, or in my case, not so gracefully, hand flying her down to the runway.

Not yet! I have had it down just to see how it would look but not tried a hands on yet with the HGS; i'm still concussed as to how nice this plane really is but that is next on the list. They would have to release it on a work night wouldn't they.......thank god it's Friday tommorow!!!!!

It's pretty good and I like it so far. FPS are good but only in Southwest Florida so far. The look and feel and sound are all there now I just need to get up to speed on the proper operation! Turned it off and will go to sleep reading the manuals.

Plan was to jump in take a flight as soon as I could. After loading it up and marveling at at this unbelievable plane plans have changed. Not that I couldn't do plan "A" but I will now take my sweet time really exploring this baby before first flight. After spending only a couple of hours with it so far I don't have the words yet to describe what pure work of art and functionality PMDG has created.
