I used to fly with 2D panels in 744X and LDS767, brought NGX last night.Found no 2D panels for co-pilot and throttle quadrant, did I do something wrong?

Nope, there is no 2D panel for the copilot and throttle quadrant. You have to go to the latter from the VC. Henri

Pretty silly that there is no throttle quadrant really. I guess somewhere there must be some rational reason for why it makes sense to have 2 radio panels and a fire panel but no throttle quadrant in the 2D panel, but I don't really see it. And what about people that like to run these 2D panels undocked on another PC? Maybe those of us that only use the 2D panel can hope to see this in the future.

Read somewhere that the throttle quadrant 2D panel is very complex to do and PMDG didn't see any point in it. I have to say I agree with them.

Could we have them in the next patch? Without them in such a expensive addon is a impresive dispointment.We had throttle quadrant 2D panel in 737ng, md-11 and 744, it won't be too difficult to put it in ngx, for Pmdg.

I also have been trying to figure out how to set the trim and fuel switches using 2D cockpit as going to VC is not a option for me. I agree with post # 6percy clapp

yeah thats a bit stupid with the 2D there isnt a 4:3 atm right? doesnt work on my screen...and yeah some things are missing, dont know why pmdg didnt make this ..hope with the update

2 radio panels (LOL), 1 dedicated fire panel, but................ no fuel levers, no trim indication, NO FLAP INDICATION...

Well, heh heh, don't get too carried away, there is a flap indication gauge over by the landing gear on the 2D panel. But the trim indication is a hassle.

I think a 2D throttle pedestal is essential. At the very least the start levers should be added to the current pedestal panel. Kevin Hall
