I think I found a clue to all those problems...

Found this little weird window in the top of the window - Any Ideas? I can't close that thing and it's ID'ed as a window.

Did you click on anything to make this appear? Or is it there when you load the aircraft?

I got this to.You can resize and move it.Very strange...

There when you load I think, you can expand it much bigger aswell so it covers the entire screen.

I found something more!!! Not only does this appear automatically on startup - BUT IT ALSO - DISSAPEARS - When the panels lockup! We are on to something here!

I've got it, but my panels haven't locked up with the NGX. I've only had two CTDs and they were in the beginning.

Is not to do with one of the bits of the airplane that you can interchange thats not always present? More like a placeholder?

According to my experience, the lockup only occurs if the anomaly goes away.

Yes I pointed the same thing out yesterday, and on my calibrated dell ultrasharp at 1920x1200, not only is that box there, but radiating out from it dowm the left side of the screen about half way, and along the top there is a white line artifact that is especially noticeable against a blue sky in day flight.I accentuated it in the pic on the top part in photoshop for illustrative purposes.Very annoying and never seen with any other addon :( original.jpg

Weird, I however do not have that huge white bar.

Also, all these problems might have something to do with the dll.xml file getting screwed up... Hmm... maybe the PMDG dll's are having a hard time talking to the sim because things don't get initialized properly. Either way... there's something to this white box thing.

That's the very box, now mine's not radiating outwards along the top like yours but there's somthing I noticed with FS that if flying at night and there are stars in the sky, as they move along the sky, when they hit the top of the screen, they are supposed to move of but instead they leave a white trace on the top of the screen. Don't know if this is related but that is definitly the box.

That's unrelated, I have that too and it's with every plane. It's simply some kind of color bleed.
