SDK

Featured Replies

I'd like to ask what is the situation with the SDK? I think maybe I've missed something. Is it out yet or is there any news on when it can be expected to be out? NGX is superb and I can't wait to connect my opencockpits' hardware into it :)jussi f

Hello, I would be interested in the SDK being used with Opencockpits SIOC software. However, I do not know how use of the SDK is facilitated. Is it that the software/hardware supplier needs to request the SDK from PMDG? Perhaps some already have; if so would it be possible to know who they are? I am building a home cockpit and would like to use the NGX logic (unsurprisingly) with my hardware panels as well as possibly the 2D panels of the PFD, EFIS & ND. Thanks in advance for any guidance. yes Looking forward for it, for all my Goflight and saitek hardware, and still wondering why saitek gear up and down don't work by deafult with the NGX it dose work with every plane in FSX including older PMDG.

Yes i'm also interested from a CP Flight hardware perspective. I believe Paulo is on the case according to their form. I think the official word from PMDG was 'after release', so I guess we'll just have to be patient.

Look at Ryan's posting in this link: His qoute: "Anyone will be able to download it - whether you can use it or not is going to be up to whether you know how to program drivers. The SDK is not something that magically makes the custom functions in the plane work with any hardware - that can't exist." http://forum.avsim.net/topic/343203-sdk-questions-topic-renamed/ Thank you 737Nut for asking and getting the answer. blueskydriver.
