Highly unusual...an internet forum full of folks who were perfect little saints when they were kids... In the real world, we all do stupid stuff when we're kids. It probably wasn't the smartest thing to do and I don't condone it, but you'll learn from it and move on. I did my share of crazy stuff when I was a kid, as I'm sure most people here did as well...and paid the price when the folks found out. BUT, that's the way of life and part of the growing experience. ;)

Every time you sit there at the pc your hopefully going to feel crap about deceiving the person that brought you into this world. She probably has a good reason behind not wanting you to spend the cash on toys. No matter how good the PMDG 737 is its not worth lieing to your mother for. Oh man, I'm not rich, I'm using my money I've saved from a couple years ago, I'm not so set on spending $300 out of $900, I have to start saving for RAM, when I get a job, I can always buy i7s and stuff.My money comes solely from academics such as competitions and those are rare.
