Is this only for the extra paying costumers?

Featured Replies

Hello, My friends. Is the:

  • Seven 11" x 17" Aircraft System Schematics with descriptions (two sided: total of 14)
  • Collection of Jeppesen charts to use during on your PMDG 737-NGX Type Training.
  • PMDG 737-NGX Lights and Switches Guide

Only for the extra paying customers (Buying the Chief Pilot's Flight Manual Set) . Or can/will they be up for download.

Correct. Those things do not come with the NGX.

No, that's one of the incentives to buying the chiefs set...

Yeah but i brought a plane to 70$ thats a lot of money. And then i am gonna buy some more because i just wants all the manuals?. But i know its a business thing. But consider to make the extra documents available for buying, maybe a download. For about 35$ for the Switch guide.

? I'm pretty sure they gave you plenty of documentation for your $70. Oh yeah, and a high fidelity simulation!

It still amazes me about peoples attitude to the Boeing Manuals that come with the NGX. PMDG give them to us free and prople still are not satisfied. Those manuals usually cost a few hundred euros and are not availableto the general public. The cost of the printed manuals is very fair and not at all to expensive. The PDF versions that come with NGX are great and are even in colour. The ones most airlines use are B/W. What is the lights and switches guide? Is that literally a schematic of every light and switch on the aircraft? If so, I think that becomes rather self evident with a bit of flying and playing around in the VC, not to mention following the detailed tutorial once it is released. As far as I am concerned not something I want to spend any additional money on. Mark.

I am satisfied. Only asked: 1: Is the Switch guide included on the NGX 2: If not, i suggest to make a separate one, to buy (e.g. as Download) at around 25 - 40 $ I AM VERY satisfied with the NGX and the Manual it's almost to much :-) I aren't mad, :-) I am soo happy i can fly a simulator, at home, REALISTIC!! Although i still have much to learn Angel.gif Thanks PMDG im Not Worthy.gif

I don't understand why the lights and switches guide is so important. All the information it contains can be found in the FCOM.

Hehe normally the manuals only come with the aircraft! That's a little more than a few hundred Euros! I understand people's beef though with getting a whole bunch of Boeing Doc's dumped on their lap. Some people like something a little more plain language and set up step-by-step system by system. The Boeing Manuals are really well thought out and the Flight Crew documentation has really improved over the last 30 or so years in terms of readability and organization...but I can understand why looking for 4.20.19's vs Pg 202 can be a little bit confusing for some people. Technical writing is a pretty unique field and things are a bit different then your typical FSX addon documentation...but as fidelity improves in the addon market I'm sure people will come on-board with time It's time we stopped hating on everybody for getting a bit flustered going through the manuals and not catching every detail or procedure. They aren't flying the real thing...so I don't think it's appropriate for us to yell at 'em "RTFB!". As for including the other stuff? I think PMDG got it right. They included the pertinent information to fly the aircraft effectively. Maybe even a bit too much. The other stuff available from them is nice but you aren't gonna not be able to use the thing without the extra docs.
