Any one out there with PFControls flying the NG 37 having problems putting the gear lever up and the wheels stay down? . I have to use the "G" key to get the gear up for some reason.Flaps -throttles- reversers are all ok, just the gear.

I have the Cirrus2, which has a 2 position gear lever,you have to pull the handle out(spring loaded) to move the handle up or down. The NGX uses 3 positions,Up,off and down. These can be probably be mapped to key functions thru FSUIPC.

Louis8, Before everyone jumps on you...you must sign your full name at the bottom of each post or you can add it as your signature. Now for the PFC throttle quadrant the gear handle does not work with the NGX. Someone suggested assigning the gear handle to the button functionality in FSUIPC (I have not gotten around to it yet). I would prefer to get the offsets and program it via FSUIPC instead, not sure if PMDG is willing to shear this info with us.

Thanks a bunch Simeon, ha i made sure it wasn't something like not having a hydraulic switch on or some thing cause with this thing as good as it is it could very well be .So for now i'll use the'G' key . And thanks for telling me about the sig.It's a good thing to have them sign your name. it urks me when i see a name like' b52 bomber' you go to look at their profile and no name no nothing.

did they changed that ? last time I looked they only had an combination for up/down so that you cant assign 2 buttons ... 1 for up and one for down, only one for toggle between up and down ...the other 2 were unlock and off ? maybe something went wrong with the patching for me ?

Nope sorry. They only have an Up/Down position and a lock. That third one is wasted. Not sure why though as the Queen has the Up and Down seperate.

No problem Ryan, when you get to it you get to it.See the white knob over by the throttles Jim? when i lift the gear up using that gear lever nothing happens, so till they get a fix i have to use the' g' key -- no big deal .I went to the picture you posted by didn't help.Those throttles you see are for props but when i fly jets i take that one off and put the jet throttle on and it has a reverse and spoiler lever. now look over by the red levers and you'll see a lever , well that's my flaps and it work fine.

Hello guys, I have found a solution to some of the problems.When using fsuipc, you can assign a command (G for gear) to the gear lever of the throttle quadrant.It works like a charm and, since that lever is not seen as an 'axis' there are no side effects either.By the way, whe you have flown the MD-11 of PMDG you should have noticed the same problem.When using the lever without fsuipc, only the outside main whells would react. The middle section would not move either.assigning the gear function, through fsuipc, to the PFC throttlke quadrant solved that little problem too. Hope this helps Luc BrusselmansBelgium

Hi Tom, The flaps and reverser work fine on my PFC throttle quadrant. I have the old serial version via a USB/Serial converter. I have the spoiler working nicely via the FSUIPC (pay version) Axis Assignment. The only two issues I see is the gear up/down toggle and the auto throttle is never over ridden by PFC throttle movement regardless of the FMC config setup. As a result my auto throttles turn off occasionally. BobP

Hi Bob, I am using the 737NG throttle quad mounted in the jet console. The spoiler lever and flap lever on the quadrant don't work and the gear lever doesn't on the jet console. I have tried setting up through FSUIPC but still doesn't work.My PFC equipment is serial also, but had problems with it running through a USB converter so now run it through a serial port on a card.
