October 18, 201114 yr Color & all Factor ares very sensitive and unpredictable. If I find nothing about those parameters I'll take it off of my program.Yep, I asked the devs a long time ago about it, but no good info as of yet. Still hoping, maybe when all the SP dust has settled one day... BTW You need sign your full name in here bud... This is the version I came up with. Like I say, not a huge change. Just adds a bitmore yellow to the flood lights. No change during the day, and it looks real goodat dusk/dawn. Myself, I don't think the real one is quite as orange as some I see.Think some of that is due to cameras and white balance.Mine is insanely orange. The integrals are plain red for the most part. I know, but I want em that way and I'm glad to have the means to adapt it like that. Well I guess noone needs to know...

Myself, I don't think the real one is quite as orange as some I see.Think some of that is due to cameras and white balance. I went through a lot ofvideos, pictures, etc just to see how they varied, and a video made by SouthwestAirlines of their Dallas simulators seemed to have the best white balance on thevideo. Farther back, they looked a tad orange, but when up closer, not so much..And to me, the white balance seemed closer on the close shots. More of a yellowingof the light, rather than a orange look.Anyway.. I adjusted this to get fairly close to what I saw on that sim video.Myself, I think you should still pretty much see the gray color of the panels, evenwith the yellowish flood lights. That's how it looked on the Southwest sim anyway..I don't have the floods on full bright. About 3/4 or so.. This is about how I runwhen I'm flying at night. Sometimes a tad lower.. Mark, Can you post your INI for that setup? Thanks <---------------> Mike Murawski

October 19, 201114 yr Mark, Can you post your INI for that setup? Thanks..................... These are the only ones I changed. And I didn't do the 2d panel, so if youuse it, you would want to edit the 2D flood colors to be the same as the VC. FLOODS_DAY_R_VC=100FLOODS_DAY_G_VC=120FLOODS_DAY_B_VC=90FLOODS_DUSK_R_VC=165FLOODS_DUSK_G_VC=140FLOODS_DUSK_B_VC=90FLOODS_NIGHT_R_VC=160FLOODS_NIGHT_G_VC=140FLOODS_NIGHT_B_VC=120 and.. CABIN_DUSK_R=128CABIN_DUSK_G=128CABIN_DUSK_B=108CABIN_NIGHT_R=225CABIN_NIGHT_G=227CABIN_NIGHT_B=237 The first two are the same as default, but I included them to keep themas a set and avoid confusion. And I'm not sure if these are totallyaccurate. The Southwest video actually looked a bit more yellow thanthis setup, but I took part of that as over saturation and white balanceon the video cam. So I decided to go easy instead of a drastic change. Even the default is not too bad, but I thought it looked just a tad toowhite/gray.. Most of the videos and images seem to show the floodlighting as a more yellow light than say the whites on the displays, etc..So.. this config could be subject to change if I find out I may be off a tad..Feedback from the ones actually flying these things would help mefurther fine tweak it if need be.
