I've done that before, long time ago actually. It should be possible to trigger an effect from within a gauge, so I think this might be feasible. However I don't know for sure and I couldn't do that in any way haha. Look here as an example, used the stock 737 there:effect.jpgsig.gif

So does anyone have a clue the best settings for realistic cockpit lighting? From looking at some SAS pictures it looks like theirs are very orange.
If you want the most realistic one, leave default colours.Cockpit colors don't change from one airline to another by the way.

Yeah, the default colors are realistic.Airliners.net pictures look orange because of the camera.
