Manual gear extension access hatch

I think the problem is the NGX is at the maximum level of FSX animations...it simply cannot have anything else animated. If you can find an animation you'd give up for this...

No need for an animation but there should be at least a key combination that makes the gear go down on gravity when hydraulic failures are actif. jos denis

Here is one animation - I would sacrifice the F/O yellow checklist ball on his control wheel.. or any of the less essential buttons/switches on the aft overhead.. or... but hey, before heating up the speculations it would be nice is someone from the PMDG team join the discussion.

Second that. This seems important enough to warrant an official answer. Is there a way to manually lower the gear or not?

Tabs posted about this a while ago, and while I can't remember exactly what he said, it is definitely a limitation of FSX's ability to realistically portray landing gear systems. Apparently PMDG couldn't get around this.

the other question is: why do the pmdg md-11 have manual gear extension and the pmdg ngx cant ?

^+1^Further on the MD-11 - separate gear extension. The MD-11 manual extension actually had 2 different levers - one for the front and main landing gears and one for the center gear..-----If I remember correctly someone from PMDG posted that there will be added features (such as FD windows opening (?)) in the service packs. Perhaps the list of those future features can include the manual gear extension for the NGX?

Don't question the work of PMDG please.
I'm not questioning anything (read my sig). I am wondering / looking forward for added features...
