August 28, 201114 yr I think the problem is the NGX is at the maximum level of FSX animations...it simply cannot have anything else animated. If you can find an animation you'd give up for this... August 28, 201114 yr No need for an animation but there should be at least a key combination that makes the gear go down on gravity when hydraulic failures are actif. jos denis

August 28, 201114 yr Tabs posted about this a while ago, and while I can't remember exactly what he said, it is definitely a limitation of FSX's ability to realistically portray landing gear systems. Apparently PMDG couldn't get around this.

August 28, 201114 yr ^+1^Further on the MD-11 - separate gear extension. The MD-11 manual extension actually had 2 different levers - one for the front and main landing gears and one for the center gear..-----If I remember correctly someone from PMDG posted that there will be added features (such as FD windows opening (?)) in the service packs.
