I think you need to calm down before the mods step in. You were wrong. Grow a pair and act more mature. Also, as per PMDG forum rules, sign your full real name.

I'm glad that I'm not the only one who thinks that. I have to laugh at how she quickly googles a topic then comes back as a freakin' god's gift authority on the subject. Can you imagine the arguments on the flight-deck?? Andrew Vincent

If you are fighting averybody and keep attacking people in that matter, you will run out of follower soon.Maybe you better keep calling your Big guys in every post you know everything about to finally manifest your point, so you do not always have to fight people.Would make things easier for most people and will take from everybody to even think of taking it on to you.I watched the change of your sig bit by bit, too.Maybe you should add some more specific topics you are the godess of knowing of. So people will eventually praise your holy word instead of fighting. Will too add to the simplicity in things. - OP asks question - you answer - next topic.Wow, THAT would make a rather fantastic support.

Okay...this is a support forum...not a follow me forum. And what if I left? Would that make you all so very happy?

Thank you SOOO much! I just gave up and clicked the "X" to close her sig. She joined on the 11th and in a few weeks has become a resident expert on everything, please don't pm her for advice she's far to busy. You may be an expert at everything you claim; however, you are most annoying. Slapping down a 1,000+ posts in 18 days is not impressive.

Regardless of the FPS issue...works for me with a couple of cards and resolutions are different. DesktopCockpit.jpg[/img]DesktopCockpit.jpg

Actually I am using SLI for the triple sreen function. SLI has the ability to provide mutiple GPU to single monitor or Multi-monitor from multi-GPU. In my case each card is powering one monitor.
If you have 3 GPUs wih bridges to push one image across 3 monitors okay that is SLI. If you have 3 GPUs and 3 different images on the monitors that is not SLI.

This is NOT about staying or leaving. It's about manners and the way you bolster your own statements with the reference of your "Big guys" once you ran out of arguments. This is silly and pointless.I really would like to get to know these guys. Let's see if they know how to use their knowledge to adopt given facts by OPs and then making the best out of the given situation REALLY applying some support and advice.

Please read my post on the previous page, there is confusion , SLI or Crossfire means parrallel processing on the same task or a same 3d render. What everyone is talking about is Surround from Nvidia and Eyefinity from ATI for extended display. If I am wrong then anyone is perfectly welcome to correct me.

Okay. Go ahead. Talk to jahman, dazz, spiritflyer, Word Not Allowed. All will say the same. SLI does nothing for FSX, unless running extremely high resolutions or 3+ monitors, neither of which the OP Is doing.

...which you don'T know.He never stated how many monitors he is actually using. If however he uses two 23" at 3840x1080 on ONE single ATI card he may see some improvement with a Crossfire setup. However as he states, his card "laying around is an old ATI with 512MB Vram, i hardly doubt he will see any performance improvement whatsoever. And NGX:You really do not get it, do you?!I am sorry for you, though. But there is no point in trying to make it clear to you, anyway. So i sadly give up on you.And don't be happy about that...rather than drolling about your victoryyou should get into thinking. As i am purely optimistic, i am sure not all hope is lost on you.

Your right, what the other guy above with 3 monitors is doing is NVIDIA Surround. http://www.nvidia.co...technology.html So I was wrong above about SLI. You are correct SLI is 2 or 3 cards with Brdiges connecting the cards and each rendering a part of 1 screen. So NGX is correct unless your going above 1920x1080 resolution there will be absolutely no benefit to run 2 or 3 cards in SLI Mode. You may turn off SLI and use 2 video cards to run 2 different monitors but I tried that with 2 8800 gtx cards and had too much of a frame hit on my Quad Core. So went back to a single card until I can upgrade.

Might not be as bad if you had a core i5 or high end CPU. Surround GamingHarness the graphics power of GTX 580 in SLI to experience panoramic gaming across three screens with NVIDIA Surround technology.
Hi, Exactly , did you read the wiki link I posted ? Possible she may be right , if anyone has the SLI connected setup and can reach above 1920x1080 then maybe we get the answer.
