Airstairs wont retract!

I can't get the airstairs to retract. I end up having to turn them off in the equipment list in order for them to "go away" any idea why this might be? Mitch bowman

Um i don't remember if i tried retracting them witht the door open or closed. Is it supposed to be open? Mitch Bowman

I believe that the entry door must be closed before the airstairs commands will respond. Have you tried closing door first, then retracting stairs?

I'll give it a try, although i believe i have tried witht he door closed before

that would be funny if this was a requirement in the real world ... :)I think I also read this in the manual somewhere or forums, but I can retract the airstairs even with closed doors, but cant with door open ...

True...I can retract the stairs only if the LFront door is closed.
