Thanks for the comments guys...it is really great being a part of the AVSIM community. What is amazing about this hobby is no "one" shot is ever the same, "close" but never the same.

Congratulations on your 1000th Simeon! Applause.gif keep 'em coming! cool.png

Luke,Not sure why your post got removed - but post it again.
Spectacular shots Simeon. After seeing that 3rd one from the bottom which I am assuming is KDCA, I wish we had a version of that airport for FSX.
Sean, You are correct this is Cloud9's Reagan - Washington National Airport. One of the main reasons I keep FS9 around, since I use the airport for supplemental training scenarios....Long live FS9!!!
Nothing special?? They're great, Simeon! Is the 727 night shot the Dreamfleet one? If yes, how did you get the lights that nice? Btw. congrats on your 1000th post!
Steffen,This is the FS9 Dreamfleet 727 - An amazingly intricate piece of machinery and a pleasure to hand fly, especially up to altitude before setting the autopilot. The lights effect I was experimenting with Photoshop and was able to get these results. I love this photo because it was one of those days that FS9 AI decides to have traffic wander onto the runway after I had already done 3 "go-arounds".

Yeah, the Dreamfleet is my all time favourite! I´m really sorry that I haven´t found this plane earlier! Flying it without break since 2 months or so. Really awesome plane. Maybe some shokwave lights could make a similar look? Btw. how did you make it with Photoshop?

Best regards, Steffen

Steffen,You are correct Shockwave lights should make a difference. I never got into the shockwave lighting but sounds like a good idea. Probably would stop me from editing my images, this too can have its downsides. If you'll notice there are a lot of lens flare reflections. That being said, within Photoshop, go to "filters" then choose "lens flare". There are least 4 different lens types to choose from, this is where too you can adjust the brightness. I have not found an easier way but depending on where it is you want to place the effect on the image can take several trial and error runs just trying to get it "exactly where you want that "cross hair" placed. Hope this helps.

Hello, The lighting effects are very successful. The sharpness(delicacy) of the outlines of 737 is incredible: we see no polygon.Great job! Thank you for pleasing us by showing us these very talented screens. Friendly NB: sorry for the Reverso translation.
