September 30, 201114 yr In case you haven't done this, be sure ALL antivirus is off, firewalls off, UAC disabled, and install as Admin. Otherwise, buy another copy, it's alot cheaper than PMS Support. Jay

September 30, 201114 yr After reading the above, I reckon I must be special. The early (2006?) automatic method didn't work (twice), and I've called MS support three times for activation issues, each time speaking to a "person", then a Supervisor, then a tech - all without any problem. However, I´ll crash before the phone numers are shown.I found 428 possible solutions to fsx activation problems - http://support.micro...0&ast=31&res=10 . Perhaps one will help you Steffan. I should have followed my advice as I bought another copy of FSX several months ago as I had the same problem and didn't seek advice here in the forums.
