New screen shot...

To be honest, these aren't much better, if not worse then the AVSIM shots. Surely there must be other shots, that show this product better. The early night shot, showing the landing lights were spectacular.

Thanks

Agreed the lighting looks excellent, but the cloud shapes look highly unrealistic...

Without scouring the internet for direct comparisons, here's just one comparison I found between a real overcast cloud and an x plane overcast cloud.Real: (image is too big so just click the link)http://laperm.files....atic-clouds.jpgX Plane:http://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?app=core&module=attach&section=attach&attach_rel_module=post&attach_id=23859Looks impressive enough to me.

Ditto, the contrast looks ok (too dark of skies imho) but the xp clouds are way to rounded. Real clouds are random and jaggy at times....hopefully REX will make an addon for XP10. The only time you really see rounded clouds would be mammatus or maybe a mountain wave. And before we go off again, FSX default clouds suck lol.

Just a quick change of the artwork can improve things...so no telling where they'll end up...I think once they're happy with the system, they'll tweak the artwork-TomK

Thanks for posting but that's why I prefer more final work as in progress lol ;-)

Aye, I totally understand, but alas, that is the x-plane way. We'll just keep going and going though and without a doubt, things get better in the future than they do in the past. I'm looking forward to lots of stuff myself-TomK

I actually like seeing things as works in progress. That way comments can be made and perhaps changes can occur accordingly.
