I take it that this is strictly for FTX users.
I asked that too but have yet to get an answer, it would be cool if it did a global thing for users of utx aswell, and not just the ftx regions.

Of course it only for FTX users, the tool disables their night lights on the light poles their sceneries use. Since FSX doesn't have vector based light poles or street lights the tool will not effect any areas outside of FTX regions. It works the same way that Ultimate Terrain works in regards to turning off the street lights or not using them at all. When the lights are on you get less FPS and when you dont use that feature you get higher FPS. Sean Campbell

Thx for pointing this out to me just tried it out on ymml since this was the hardest hit for me on fps and yea it doubled my fps very happy now :0 :) guess it pays to check the forums that you have addons with
