Stopping any further development and firing all the staff sounds like killing a product to me!I'm not aware of any further Flight Simulator development since that time, other than selling rights to that product to Lockheed Martin and allowing them to further develop- all under a new product name..MS seems to have made clear that Flight is a different product - despite having rehired many of the FS personnel & undoubtedly using much of the FS code etc.I would assume Flight has a totally new budget for its development- one that will be under close scrutiny by the MS Finance people.AR
:) we pretty much agree on the details too.But MS never said the franchise was dead.At the time they said they were committed to it...without going as far as actually making a product announcement. And now we have a new version, so to me the rest is pretty inconclusive.

No, just the waste of time downloading the demo was enough for me. XP just isn't for me compared to what I already have.
Ok, we can exchange our Paypal accounts in private messages, deal done.Cheers
Again, I have my Paypal account ready for the bet, when you want sir.

Hi,Won't need it until next September or October.

Sorry for the little topic hijacking.I proposed a bet and you accepted doubling it. I am still ready to bet jets won't be in.This anyway is going to be too easy, like stealing candies from Halloween bags.

Which is exactly why I made the bet because I will be able to buy SOOOOOOOOO much tea with your $50!

Ok JSKoma, after this little diversion between me and you, now back on topic. :(It is rumored that Flight will reproduce around 5% of Hawaii only , IMO it is too little even for an ancient biplane or a rusty Maule, do you agree ?

Believing in too many rumors will get you into trouble more times then not.

5%? smile.png Are spreading rumors or making them up? Just who told you this?Lol I fear the internet is the herald of a new Dark Ages. Doh.gif

No, he's only seen 5% so that is all that exists in his mind.

Sometime guys it is opportune to distinguish between a truth and a provocation....Told that, I deploy a question , why MS since a year and a half keep on showing the very same planes, the very same sceneries, the very same gauges etc. instead of showing something else if they really existed in the game beside existing into fans' minds only ?

Well, as you know, they’ll show what looks best. Beyond that I’m not going to conclude too much :)But it's looking like we'll be learning more fairly soon...announcing beta is pending was a big milestone.
