He%20He.gif Jim, come on, you know better than that.....Cuppa.gif
http://marketplace.xbox.com/en-US/PCI KNOW it says XBOX but it's for Windows LIVE as well.Although I don't think you'll find some add ons for Flight just yet.Whistle.gif
I think marketplace would/could be a benefit to all in the community (users and developers)

And for the 10 GB install: I just checked my default FS9 install and it came in at 2.76GB and that even included the jets that I am going to win $50 from, world wide scenery, textures that cover each of the 4 seasons, land marks at cities, more than 20 maximum AI planes, and airports that actually look like airports and not empty fields and concrete.

Jim, Jim, Shame%20On%20You.gif stay focus here, we are talking about Flight - FSX, FSX 15GB vs Flight 10GB installation, we are not talking about shaving 0.05GB or 1.0GB off here, were are talking about shaving 1/3 less compare to FSX.....and that is with improved scenery +++....?So you really think we'll have everything included out of the box......"wanna" take another bet with a fellow Avsim's poster?

I'm VERY tempted to lay a bet with Jim as well. Particularly about the size of the install vs what you get for it. Only problem is, $50 is too little. Add another zero and I might be interested.

LOL Goran, it's not really about the money for me but more about the bragging rights ....

I want the bragging rights too, but I also want to take Jim's money. Just because it's Jim.
"What do you think the following means?"The Games for Windows - LIVE platform sets the stage for all your virtual flight needs while connecting you to a global base of users, content and endless exploration"It means multi-player; the same kind of multi-player we have had for FS 2004 and FSX." But I'm pretty sure you'll have to go online to activate this sim."What if your computer you have Flight installed on isn't hooked up to the Internet? Will you be able to make a telephone call to MS just like you can with FSX?
In my limited experience with Game For Windows LIVE, you MUST be connected to the internet, or the game is not playable.I hope someone can provide evidence to the contrary, but that's been my experience with the 3-4 games I've owned in the past that utilized GFWL.

Or adding 4 times as much from FS9.What is your bet?Goran,I'll bet you that Flight has seasonal textures, city landmarks, airport buildings, and more than 20 AI planes at all major airports.

Then why isn't one of the hardware requirements an Internet connection?

So predictable. I KNEW you would bring x plane into it somehow.I take it you won't accept the original bet.

Good, because you would never win.

Never mind Jim. I just reminded myself of who you are based on your photo. My guilty conscience got the better of me.
