No meds - but I do get the full dividend checks quite regularly, thank you. See, they do know I exist ! A partner, no less. But, seriously, let's stay on the subject - our common passion for MS FS.
HelloNo, thats a shareholder$25 lets you be one of those, If that's all it takes to be a partner then it looks like I am a partner in half of the FTSE top 100.... LOL

Looks more like the direction of Flight is more of a game and limited to a single location like has been talked about.http://www.gameshadow.com/gamepedia/3393a/microsoft_flight/From the above website:Microsoft Flight brings a different perspective to the long-running flight series. This edition will deliver structured gameplay with more than 50 missions to choose from which will test the skills of players of all levels. Also, from the website below, there is mention of structured gameplay and missions. Does not look good for a world wide simulator.http://www.gamespot.com/microsoft-flight/videos/start-select-microsoft-flight-beta-day-1-studios-6347059

You're making conclusions based on a website that is just writing down their thoughts on what they think the game will be? Disappointment...

Two websites are saying the same thing, including Gamespot. We will know soon enough once a beta tester leaks some information about whether this highly secretive simulator will cover the globe or will be a $40 title that will be sold mostly to people with a passing interest in spending a few hours flying a plane around beautiful Hawaii and then go back to their normal gaming habits.

Sure hope M$ has a Plan B ready !

Drunk business men locked into the toilette..... LOL..... that perfectly summarize the concept Flight is gonna deliver to us.Nice preview Gamespot, nice one indeed. The truth is starting to surface. I am glad news are starting to be broadcasted.Which news ? Gamespot as far as I know delivered for first that Flight will bring cargo delivery using a colored biplane, this seems to be another real news.My $50 are coming closer, another good news Jim.

You know, Flight Assignment:ATP had structured "gameplay"; FSX was chock full of "missions", X-Plane has you doing "gamey" things like drop an X-15 from the wing of a B-52, landing on aircraft carriers, and guiding the Space Shuttle down from orbit. Are you hecklers complaining about any of that stuff, or is your disgust limited solely to all things "M$"?What on Earth does "This edition will deliver structured gameplay with more than 50 missions to choose from which will test the skills of players of all levels...", prove, other than you will be able to do some of the same things that great simulators have been including for the better part of 20 years? And please, for the 10,001st time, can you please stop with the ridiculous "M$" moniker. Anyone who was around leading up to FSX should know full well that the ACES team was incredibly passionate about the franchise, and reached out to the community-at-large to begin a dialogue. Unfortunately, it's people like the ones "occupying" this forum that ruined that experience for everyone. I doubt that the team behind Flight is any less passionate.

Sorry man, I do not share your opinions. Therefore you can't quit me neither my own opinions, as long as I stay within forum rules, and I do.Once the official Flight forum will be up and running, if MS will care to build one, well, over there you can be sure threads and posts which different opinions will be deleted or censured so you will have an eye candy and smooth forum where MS fans could chat each other in a lovely jubilee atmosphere.

Well said. And you all please read the Ocober 2011 news item on the Flight website again.

I've been reading the same sort of unfounded drivel for the past six months on darn near every website on the planet that has any sort of flight sim forum......none of which makes anything stated true. LOL.gif

2 websites are wrong and any beta tester that leaks some information will no longer be a beta tester.

As someone stated above; just a minor shareholder. It's like the folks who just bought shares from the Green Bay Packers of the NFL... purely for the "prestige" of saying they own shares of an NFL franchise. It doesn't mean that said shareholders have any control over what direction the team goes, how they should play the game, etc. That being said... it doesn't mean Microsoft is going to change their position, marketing strategy or contents of MS Flight just because YOU make comments to them,or that you "own" shares of Microsoft stock. You made an investment (albeit a SMALL one) in Microsoft, but there are much BIGGER fish in the pond that drive the entire school.Based on many of the previous posts, I reiterate my earlier comments; some of you really need to take a step back and gain new perspective. I fear the passion of speculation and innuendo will give way to the reality of bitter disappointment, anger, and further disillusionment of our hobby should MS Flight be released in a form OTHER than what the majority of posters are WISHING it will be.

The information they contain is not yet been released by Microsoft themselves, so they are likely just putting together what they think the sim will be.

Does not mean that they are wrong. From what I have seen MS has not said anything either way, so if Gamespot were to say that it was world wide, would they be wrong?
