November 17, 201114 yr Hi guys,I noticed that when I first load the ngx and attemp a take off I will have these problems during climb but if I reposition the aircraft back on the runway and takeoff again everything is ok. Not a big deal but what could I be doing wrong here since on the second attemp everthing works? Thanks,David Di Domizio David

November 17, 201114 yr Author Ok here's the video, sorry but the resolution isn't that good but you can still se that the speed is stuck at 130 knots and when I level off the picth is to low.http://youtu.be/wxGLktvj8OMThanks David
November 17, 201114 yr This sounds very similar to an issue someone had that was caused by their hardware flaps axis assignment Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64

November 17, 201114 yr Author You are getting an Overspeed Limiting symbol on the IAS indicator (flashing 8) and your flaps indicator show the the flaps are not up ?Your thrust switches from N1 to Speed mode which is set to 270 knots !!!!Have thought about doing a standard TO/GA takeoff ?Jason.Hi...well even at lower speeds and with flaps up it's the same thing.I'm not sure what you mean by standard takeoff but I did use TOGA.You are overspeeding !!!!!!!Rollback at least a 100 knots on your IAS.Engaging heading select would help too for your roll mode.It is in CWS R.I know it was just to show the problem,As I said before if I put the aircraft back on the runway and takeoff the same way I don't have any problems at all. David
November 19, 201114 yr I've had the same problem. Normal takeoff climb and initial acceleration. Upon achieving 180-190 kts acceleration stops even at level flight with gear and flaps up. Changing varients returns performance to normal. Repeatable with same result. Doesn't matter if start in 600 then switch to 700 or 700 and switch to 600. Strange. Happy landings, Mike Eppright (KAAO)
November 19, 201114 yr Its been happening here a couple of weeks now on the 700. Driving me up the wall and its difficult to work out with my meds too. Today I was taking off from an airport with a mountain in the distance. ATC guided me that direction on an IFR flight but the aircraft just wouldn`t climb to the height they gave out. The aircraft just continued to fly level or a very slight climb. Never had the problem on the 800/900 pre SP1, I`ll check that out when I get a chance. I`ll find it somehow because its putting me off flying it just now.Steve
November 19, 201114 yr hi smokey,Go to settings realism i think and tick te box indicated airspeed in stead of true airspeed or the other way around, i'm not sure...Normally it would help.
November 21, 201114 yr I ran some varied tests all starting from Cold and Dark, all set the same way, same time, everything matching except the aircraft type. Set off from the same stand, same airport. Later I tried other airports, all came out the same result. I don`t think I`ll ever forget how to do a Cold and Dark start now. This is the result and order of the tests;737 600 (PMDG Texture) - picked up altitude, speed, climbed and flew no problem737 800 (PMDG Texture) - picked up altitude, speed, climbed and flew no problem*** TEST1 - 737 700 (Easi Jet Texture) - No matter what I did other than grabbing the yoke and forcing the plane up it failed to climb, using the same settings as the previous 2 flights. It stayed level and at a constant low speed, rarely varying and then only extremely slowly.737 700 (PMDG Texture) - picked up altitude, speed, climbed and flew no problem*** TEST 2 - 737 700 (Easi Jet Texture) - No matter what I did other than grabbing the yoke and forcing the plane up it failed to climb, using the same settings as the previous 2 flights. It stayed level and at a constant low speed, rarely varying and then only extremely slowly.737 800 (Kulula Texture) - picked up altitude, speed, climbed and flew no problem*** TEST 3 - 737 700 (Easi Jet Texture) - picked up altitude, speed, climbed and flew no problem???Many many more times since I`ve tested more flights and done full flights from source A to destination B. None fails to climb except the 737 700 with the Easi Jet texture applied. I took out the texture, downloaded it again and reapplied, same problem. It probably isn`t the texture itself but the settings in the CDU or one of them at least. So I guess my next job is to differentiate between the ones that work and the ones that don`t. Or just don`t fly the Easi Jet one. Intermittant faults are such a so and so! Still enjoying the aircraft though. Steve
November 22, 201114 yr Look at this:http://forum.avsim.n...ost__p__2148099Start a ticket w/ PMDG, Ryan and Paul are aware. Let us know what joystick hardware you are using and whether you have FSUIPC (registered or unregistered) loaded as an add on. Been having same problem since loading the A/C. Rick Bertz
