Imagine a PMDG 744 at NGX Quality...

I'd pay a small amount for an upgraded 744, but having paid for it once, if it came out at the same price as the one now I'd give it a miss, I'm afraid.

If we do it it's going to be a complete rebuild from the ground up like what we just did with the NGX - it won't be just upgraded textures or something, it'll be all new models, systems programming etc. People forget the 744 is almost as old as our original NG was, 744 was our second product for MSFS.

Hey Ryan, I like the idea of new Models, systems programming etc... and don't mind paying full price again, but the only thing I don't like is the big "IF" you guys should definitely do it without any doubt. People paid twice as the PMDG cost for a driver to make it work with there hardware, I was willing to pay as well but for some reason the driver didn't work on my MCP PRO panel. SDK for PMDG 747 V2 would be great.

LOL I actually chuckled at this.But seriously, what happened is between myself and PMDG, and it will stay like that. I'm getting quite a bit of fan/hate mail and I'm tired of writing responses.So in all seriousness, the thread was removed, meaning the project is not going to be released. I apologize to anyone who has been given false hopes, and I apologize to PMDG for not taking the appropriate steps to proceed with such an update.Hope everybody has a happy holiday season and a great new year.~David

is there any place i can get a delta texture for my pmdg 747-400? i got a couple and the instructions were to add them to the pmdg cfg file but when i did that it would not save the file and said i did not have administrator rights and then it said access denied. it seemed after i got around each reason it came up with a different reason and of course access is denied was the final reason. does the texture have to be installed using their installer or is there some other reason built into programming of the pmdg model to keep you from adding liveries to the existing pmdg file? henry oh...fsx 747-400x pmdg
