February 9, 200422 yr Commercial Member Oh wow, that looks really really nice! I wonder if they're going to find a way to model the emergency parachute?? Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
February 9, 200422 yr Good lord of all thats sweet and holy, that looks amazing!!! :-eek :-eek :-eekOnce this is out and about I reckon thats another addition to the "Best GA aircraft" thread for certain! :-jumpyI just have to.. grab it :-bluegrab
February 9, 200422 yr Talking about good GA's....Did you guys had the change to fly that very very realistic and beautifully rendered homebuild from http://flightfactory-simulations.com that great Vans RV7. Never seen an aircraft which handles this realistic. I wrecked my flaps several times now. Luckely it all was covered under the warranty ;) and this is no joke...look at the maintenace app.http://forums.avsim.net/user_files/62010.jpgAnd the usual disclaimer with enthousiastic posts: I'm just a happy customer, who really loves this aerobatic beast :)Rob "Holland&Holland" de Vries http://www.emotipad.com/emoticons/Flying.gif"To go up, pull the stick back. February 9, 200422 yr I like the rv7 because its a challenge to learn how to take off and land properly...very rewarding when you get it just right..its also snazzy lookin :-)...i find however that due to its extreme lightweight design, its just not cut out for winter time vfr'in here in the northeast over Long Island where you can get almost constant moderate chop just about everyday. Also, if you havent noticed yet...the maint program it comes with is kinda screwy cause it records all wear and tear as well as landings from "instant replays", this causes your plane to "age" MUCH faster than it should. The sf260 is slightly more stable although still somewhat uncomfortable in this type of turbulent condition.Id love to find a a nice vfr craft thats heavy enough to withstand this type of flying on a single prop GA (other than the meridian). If anyone has any ideas feel free to jump in!Dave Dave Kalin Excel Classes Computer Lessons
February 10, 200422 yr Thanks for the heads up. That looks like one great aircraft thus far.Screenshots look good, as does the panel and interior views.I've been reading quite a bit about the SR-22 lately and would love to partner up with some people and buy one some day.I may have to break out the cash for this one, depending on the pricepoint. based upon their vans pricing, looks good thus far.Regards,Joehttp://aboutpolitics.net/images/bannerav.gif.About Politics.net - FORUMShttp://pub162.ezboard.com/baboutpolitics.Contribute to the Richard Harvey Scholarship Fund.http://www.avsim.com/pages/scholarship.shtml CryptoSonar on Twitch & YouTube.
February 10, 200422 yr Hey Ryan,Yes, emergency chute (called CAPS on the Cirrus) is modeled.Best regards,
February 10, 200422 yr Fabio,Can't wait for it!!LOOKS AMAZING!And its one heck of a plane..Bruno Francescoli.
February 10, 200422 yr Someone should send this link to Austin Meyer, designer of X-Plane. He recently bought a new SR22 Centennial edition, and should at least have a nice "simulated replica" :D In all seriousness, I have built an RV (nearly completed) have flown numerous RV's, and am really enjoying the simulated Van's RV7 from Flight Factory Simulations. I'll look forward to the Cirrus, since I wouldn't mind a real one ........ myself! L.Adamson
February 10, 200422 yr The Cirrus certainly looks outstanding. Now we just have to wait to see how it flies.Anyone have 313k to spare ? Base package that is......Cheers,Roger
February 10, 200422 yr Commercial Member Fabio,So you can actually kill the engine, deploy the chute and the plane will float to the ground??? That will be a stunning acheivment if so! Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com

If you add that to the systems of the Cirrus you will undoubtedly have one of the very best aircraft ever created for flight sim. Really looking forward to it!And the support from the development team is perfect - polite, incisive and pro-active, including personal e-mails to customers when things of interest are available on the web site. Makes you feel part of the team, not just another one of those `troublesome customers` that just seem to get in the way of other developers. Allcott
