Man, talk about old threads....the FFS Cirrus was sold to Eaglesoft a loooong time ago:-)We took her down to scratch and rebuilt her from ground up and it became the basis for our Cirrus SR20/SR22 Series and yes the CAPS sytem works well. Check the reviews here and at other sites.:-)Hope this helps.

Finally, we are working on an SR22 G3 Turbo Expansion Pack for both the FS9 and FSX Versions:-)She's come a looong way since the original release but still has a lot of life in here.By the way, if you haven't redownloaded and reinstalled since the original release then you are missing out on the performance improvements made since original release.:-)Hope this helps.

FOR AN ENHANCED CAP EXPERIENCE INVEST IN THE BUTTKICKER GAMER. IT FEELS LIKE THE CHUTE ROCKET HAS FIRED UNDER YOUR SEAT. THIS AIRCRAFT HAS BEEN ONE OF MY FAVORITES BOTH IN FS9 AND NOW FSX. THE AVIDYNE FLIGHT DISPLAYS ARE INCREDIBLE BUT I CAN'T SAY I'M A BIG FAN OF THE GARMIN 430.

>hey, the link doesn't work :(3 1/2 year old post. Old news and I believe some of the programmers for this and the modeling moved on to Eaglesoft who did release the SR20 and SR22 some time ago.

>>hey, the link doesn't work :(>>3 1/2 year old post. Old news and I believe some of the>programmers for this and the modeling moved on to Eaglesoft>who did release the SR20 and SR22 some time ago.To clarify once more...FFS sold the basics, and we do mean basics, to Eaglesoft years ago. Team Eaglesoft went down to bare bones and spent roughly 18 months of extremely difficult work up to release of the SR20 and another 4 to 6 months or so to release the SR22. Since that time the SR20 and SR22 have undergone a couple of free updates which were "rolled into" the download. After another 6 months or so of difficult work we were able to offer the same two aircraft in FSX and both have undergone a service release which has also been "rolled into" the download. Team Eaglesoft is working an Expansion Pack for the SR22 G2 which will be "Turbo G3"...price and avaialability to be determined.Hope this helps:-)

I hadn't seen your post Ron when I posted my response. I'm looking very forward to the SR22 Turbo G3. We actually had one at the CAA a couple evenings ago. Just can't get me head around spending a half mil for a four place single though. Saw an absolutely stunning Baron B55 with Colemill conversion today (300 hp), new engines, new interior, new panel with dual Garmins and MX20, Sandel EFIS and cost half that... climbs out at 2,000 fpm at 160 indicated too!

Ownership of the Composite/Glass airplanes such as the SR22, Columbia 400, and recently unveiled Diamond DA50 is certainly not what could be termed "entry level" but they sure do have that "curb appeal":-)If money were not an object we would certainly see a lot more of the Composite/Glass stuff at nearly every local airport:-)By the way, could you email me? Got a couple of questions for you.

Ron, how do I tell if my sr20 for fsx has the service pack? Is this something that was downloadable? I have spent many an hour in the sr20 this weekend, sort of a flight sim bender if you will, doing cross countries and practicing navigation. Awesome plane once you figure out the quirks. Perhaps this service pack will iron those out?________________________________________________________________________________________________Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' | Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.20Ghz | 2 GB Super Talent DDR2 800 | Big Typhoon VX | eVGA 8800GTS @ 565/900 | Seagate 2x320GB SATA RAID-0 | OCZ GameXStream 700W | Creative X-Fi | Silverstone TJ-09BW | Matrox Triplehead Setup

Feel free to check in our forums to verify as I don't have them in front of me at the moment. Thanks for letting us know you are enjoying her:-)

Well i have a .gau file with that date but no .dll file. I also am pretty sure I bought the sr20 before april but dont remember for sure. I also never installed a service pack for it so i must have downloaded it with the service pack? Well i guess that means its up to date?________________________________________________________________________________________________Intel D975XBX2 'Bad Axe 2' | Intel Core 2 Duo E6600 @ 3.20Ghz | 2 GB Super Talent DDR2 800 | Big Typhoon VX | eVGA 8800GTS @ 565/900 | Seagate 2x320GB SATA RAID-0 | OCZ GameXStream 700W | Creative X-Fi | Silverstone TJ-09BW | Matrox Triplehead Setup
