December 19, 201114 yr Just started getting that messager after doing some windows vista updates yesterday, and can't load the pmdg ngx anymore.... what happened? I have been running this fine now for months! Any ideas? it pops up an activation window that does not work at all...will not validate any info I give it from my pmdg receipt! December 19, 201114 yr Have you looked in your fsx.cfg file under the TRUSTED paragraph to make sure everything is copesthetic? It looks like Flexnet cannot find the expected files. Your Vista upgrade? might have done some rearranging. Hope you fix it.C:/users/you/appdata/roaming/microsoft/fsx/fsg.cfg (open with notepad) TRUSTED is about 2/3rd of the way down the page (at least in my file) Dennis Trawick Screen Shot Forum Rules

December 21, 201114 yr It's definitely not NGX itself, but the activation module that's at fault here. December 21, 201114 yr Hi Peter, your are not alone I have exactly the same problem. I have reported the problem to PDMG and got an answer within hours, unfortunately none of their suggestions helped me, which I told them and since I haven't heard anything (2 days ago) If you find a solution please let me know. For now the 737 is parked in the garage.Dan Rasmussen Dan Rasmussen
December 27, 201114 yr Good afternoon gentlemenI just had this problem after running a gauge cleaner application. Among the "cleaned" gauges I found the pr-737 sub-folder. When I restored this to the FSX Gauges folder the NGX loaded again without difficulty.Bob Marston
December 27, 201114 yr The most common reasons for people having activation issues.Your system clock is not synched to the current date and time. You added new Hardware and the NGX thinks your trying to run it on a 2nd machine and will deny. Paul Deemer
December 30, 201114 yr Hi Bob,thanks for your comment, I suddenly realized that I had also done a gauge clean-up. I therefore restored the old gauges and after that NGX is working again, the activation issue has disappeared.Dan Rasmussen Dan Rasmussen
December 30, 201114 yr I had a similar problem too, my activation window wouldn't come up. All it took for me was to completely uninstall the NGX. Even when you uninstall, a-lot of the components are still there. Like the DLL's.Do a search in your fsx folder for "PMDG" or something more specific if you have more than one PMDG airplane installed. Like "737NGX" and Throw everything in the trash. It might also require a registry clean of the NGX.Good luck!
