I too am having problems with registration. Both my e-mails, one to [email protected] and one to [email protected], have failed. The message from the mail daemon says " Deferred: Connection timed out with [168.143.9.112] Message still undelivered after four hours". Could there be a problem with RC's mail server? Bob

I used FSUIPC to program three spare buttons on my joystick with the FS control "Toggle aircraft exit" and parameters 1, 2 and 3. This avoids having to use Shift + E etc. Bob

Thanks for the reply, Jim. The problem is that I can't get decent performance for these airports with any configuration at all. It is obviously something peculiar to my setup but I had hoped it might ring a bell with someone. I guess I shall have to wait until that awful day when I have to reinstall the whole shooting match. I have a high end system and I like to fly with plenty of traffic and most of the sliders towards the right. Most of the time I get reasonable frame rates - for instance I can land the NGX at UK2000's EGCC with frame rates in the high teens. However with Fly Tampa's OMDB, Aerosoft's PANC and Aerosoft's LFPO frame rates are down as low as 2 even with the default Cessna, no traffic and all the sliders to the left. I have tried re-installing and disabling Ultimate Terrain makes no difference. I see nothing like this in any of the developers' forums. Can anyone suggest a common factor? Bob

Hello Toni EKCH_traffic.bgl in the EKCH-X/Scenery folder installs AI traffic all over the place. You could try disabling that. Bob

No. AFX is payware, but Airport Design Editor is freely downloadable from http://www.airportdesigneditor.co.uk. I daresay that would do as well.Bob

I noticed that removing the flatten01.bgl file from the scenery folder made no apparent difference, so I opened afcad_kjsc.bgl in AFX and used Create Flatten Polys to draw a polygon round the whole airfield. I'm not sure what this did but it solved the bleedthrough for me.Bob

Export your FSC flight plan into the FS Flight Planner. Then in the QW757 FMC click InitRef then Index and then Load ATC Rte.Bob

Look in your FSX\Addon Scenery folder for a folder called "AKESOFT VALENCIA-X FSX" which should contain two more folders called "scenery" and "texture" which should each contain a load of files. If these are present the scenery should show up in your Scenery Library. If not try downloading again.Bob

I just ran the installer and typed "D:\Microsoft Flight Simulator X\Addon Scenery\AKESOFT VALENCIA-X FSX" into the box. After it installed I copied LEVC_ADE9_ADE_ALT.BGL into the FSX Scenery\World\Scenery file as instructed in the manual and then activated the scenery in the FSX Scenery Library.Bob

I just downloaded this without problems, installed it in Addon Scenery in FSX and then activated it in the normal way. It seems at first sight to be OK although it ain't gonna set the FS world on fire.Bob

I just bought the AFS Airbus package and am very disappointed. It is far inferior to the old Wilco Airbus which I've had for years.The exteriors aren't bad although perhaps less detailed than some and there is certainly a good range of liveries.There is no 2D cockpit and the VC looks quite good although th Eicas buttons are inoperative and instead there are switches to change between two Eicas views and the GPS. The engine start switches on the pedestal are missing although they are modelled in the pedestal pop-up panel.The real problems however lie in the functionality or rather the lack of it You can't program the FMC butit will accept a flightplan from the FS Flight Planner and it reads weights and fuel from FS and calculates v-speeds based on this. However the FMC does not function with the APU running and you have to start the engines before you can use it.The Autopilot and Flight Dicrector buttons dont work and as soon as you dial a value into the speed selector window the engines spool up and the the aircraft sets off.It was at this point that I decided to write off my 20 euros and not waste any more time with it.Oh and as for the "friendly co-pilot" well I've been out with some rough-looking birds in my time, but I never expected to break the record in an Airbus.Not recommended.Bob

I am running FSX on Windows 7 and have used RC for years without problems. However when I fly the new ERJ's from feelThere Ctrl+Shift+K and Ctrl+Shift+M don't work and I can't use Otto. RC appears to be working fine otherwise and the problem doesn't occur with any other aircraft. Any ideas gentlemen?Bob
