Suggest a good A320 panel?

Featured Replies

Could someone please recommend a good A320 panel, with preferably a VC? All these A320's are appearing, but I don't know of a panel. Thanks,

Best freeware panel for A320/A330 around :http://emarciano.flightsimmer.com/Dont forget to get the 2 patches and fixes for the A320 panel as well from there :).

I was wondering if you got the Eric Marciano panel to work with the iFDG Airbus. I keep getting errors with it. I have installed all the updates and patches, and the panel works fine with other aircraft, just not with the new Airbus.I was wondering, do you had any tips?Lee

Well I originally installed it for the Project Airbus A320 (worked well) and when this iFDG version came out, all I did was move the panel directly over to this one. That is, I moved the panel.cfg and all the bmp's into the new panel folder, that was it really.Seems to work with me with no flaws (except the "usual" problem, FMC not working to its fullest).Others have had many problems installing these panels both for this one and the A330 but I really cant say what might be the problem. There is a thread that was active some days ago in here about these exact problems. Might be on page 3-4 now :)

You need to get the latest patch which includes the a320.gau file. The newest version is dated sometime from November 2003. There are two different versions posted on his site, and you need to make sure you get the absolute latest version.

I posted an EM A320 panel installation procedure here:http://ifdg.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=962Let me know if that works for you.

PSS!!!!!!!!incredible quality but it's paywareMatti

Unfortunately I got so spoiled by the PSS A320, that I just am not interested in any other plane or panel of this model until they come out with either a patch or a new version. Just no comparison between the PSS work and anything else available. The external models of these new planes is better than the PSS bird and I had the Project Freeware birds working with the PSS panel in FS2002. However have not flown any airbeese in FS9 yet.Eric

Hi, If you're looking for a complex A320 panel, PSS seems to be the only winner. It works very well with the new IFDG model.

http://www2.vflight.org/hepanels/downloads/index.htm This site will more than supply most of your panels. They are good and I use all of them, including the A320 panel on non-PSS A320's.If it burns Kerosene and makes a noise, I'm interested.

Really? I was of the impression that the PSS A320 wouldnt work at all in FS9. If I can load it up then alias it to the new IFDG stuff, that would be fantastic!Eric

On this panel, how do you get to set the course selector in the HSI? I have the same issue with the Marco Spada Airbus panel.ThanksShez
