+ 2000 hrs on the queen.0 hrs on the md - I need to get to work here, its a waste!50 hrs on the ngx
Holy sh*t, I have like 1 hour.
how do people know how many hours they have?
Well, knowing the overall aircraft maintenance is every 250 hours, and I never fly without cumulative wear on, I just subtract the number I have in the general aircraft maintenance countdown page in the CDU from 250.My VA also has an ACARS system, so that helps. Eventually, I'll get a php script going to track every flight I take on VATSIM and log my hours for me. (I do almost all flying on VATSIM- another way if you do also is to use VATAWARE- it tracks your minutes in each aircraft.)

how do people know how many hours they have?
If you look in the folder that has FSX.cfg, there is a sub folder namedsim objects. There is a "state.cfg" for each plane that shows howmany hours each plane has, and it shows each engines time.So far, I'm up to 210 hours on the various NGX models.. :/12 hours on the 900WL.134 on the 800WL.42 on the 700WL.22 on the 600.The 700 will likely take the lead before too long as I fly it themost playing Southwest buoy. But I'll walk on the longer side againevery once in a while when they start actually running the 800'sthis spring. Now that I have the 700, about the only time I use the 800 and 900is for long hauls to/fro KIAH. Usually Continental or United.Generally United when using the 900.Except for the 600, I've never used the non winglet versions yet.

I love the NGX, but I force myself to fly other aircraft so I don't get too rusty with them. I'll fly the NGX for a few runs, then switch to another aircraft. Maybe the J41 or Majestic Dash8. Next, I think I'll break out Leonardo's MD80 for a few trips. I've been planning on taking up the Dreamlifter for a few trips also, since I just seen two of them at the airport around here.

No need for these kind of topics again... The fact that the NGX is a true masterpiece, is old news now... blum.gif

I have about 320 hours on the NGX I think, but not sure as I've just got a new (VA) Job and so my counter was resetted to 0 after already 2 month of NGX flying. In the 2 month since I changed the VA I have already flown 159:22 hours.

Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
