January 6, 201214 yr I am looking at getting a good add-on CRJ model (or even if possible a working FMC for the default FSX CRJ7). As stated in another former, the CRJ is one of the most flown aircraft, yet there seems to be a lack of good development for one. Does anyone have any suggestions? I am running Win7 64bit, FSX, 8GB RAM, Intel 2600k CPU, nVidia GeForce 560 Ti
January 6, 201214 yr The Digital Aviation CRJ (Aerosoft now) is under development. It will be the CRJ when it's finally released. Until then, pickings are slim to none for FSX. I too have been longing for a high fidelity CRJ to replace the aged Wilco model (which may be the best complete offering but it's not great).Apparently there's a popular simulation of the CRJ for X-Plane, but I find X-Plane inaccessible. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

I got the WILCO one, but it isn't supported with 64bit I guess (I have another forum on here about it), and the gauges don't work fully (weirdly enough, the default CRJ7 is better IMHO). Here is hoping that PMDG's "secret project" is either the CRJ family or the Embraer family!I would look at X-Plane, but I have already spent too much money into FSX to switch...I might look at trying to find FS2004 just to fly certain aircraft (ie the WILCO CRJ) Edited January 6, 201214 yr by Paul Reitman

January 6, 201214 yr Author The Wilco ERJ V2 is excellent.I just got burned by WILCO and FeelThere, that is a sore subject...
January 6, 201214 yr Yes, I've been burned by wilco, but I will say that the ERJ v2 is very good, no I'm not a RWP but from my experience using it , I really enjoyed itI also really enjoy ejets v2 as well, both are great.and yes, I'm frustrated to there is no good CRJ,.. I've been tempted to just fly the defualt, but ooohh I cringe everytime I have substitue a gps for an fmc. Ciao!
January 6, 201214 yr Author Is this the one you are talking about?http://www.wilcopub.com/simulator-add-on/embraer-regional-jets.html#upsells-list
January 6, 201214 yr paul:CRJ was developed for FS8 ... that makes it 7+ years old. the CRJ is a 'fleet' aircraft designed for entry level flyers and those that wish a lower level of realism.the ERJ v2 was released in 2009 and provides both FS9 and NATIVE FSX models. the systems are leaps and bounds above what are seen the the CRJ. the liveries are provided by the McPhat painting studio. the sounds are by TSS. the ERJ v2 has nothing to do with wilco. feelThere is the publisher and developer. you can purchase the ERJv2 directly from feelthere (www.feelthere.com).the Ejetv2 was released in 2010 and has greater level of simulation than the ERJ v2. the liveries are provided by the McPhat painting studio. the sounds are by TSS. the Ejet v2 has nothing to do with wilco. feelThere is the publisher and developer. you can purchase the Ejetv2 directly from feelthere (www.feelthere.com).-- D. January 6, 201214 yr but is there an available paint kit for the ERJ v2 or the Ejet v2paul:there are paintkits for both. see the feelThere forum for info/links.there are also a large number of repaints available in the AVSIM library.- D. January 6, 201214 yr paul:there are paintkits for both. see the feelThere forum for info/links.there are also a large number of repaints available in the AVSIM library.-Hello, does feelThere participate in the development of the new Wilco CRJ? Zicheng Cai
January 6, 201214 yr I have the Ejets V2...and it is indeed very good. Its got pretty much everything you'll want :)To give you an idea of its systems and capabilities, look here..(170 but identical)http://www.flightsimclub.nl/mediapool/77/774857/data/erj170tutv1.pdf Its a PDF so may take 30 secs to load. January 6, 201214 yr Author Well only reason I would prefer the ERJ v2 is because I need some good Regional Jets in my hanger. I already have the QW 757 and will be getting real shortly the PMDG 737, so I need my good short hopper
January 6, 201214 yr does feelThere participate in the development of the new Wilco CRJ?feelthere is not involved.-- D. Scobie, feelThere support forum moderator: https://forum.simflight.com/forum/169-feelthere-support-forums/
January 9, 201214 yr I merged Wilco's CRJ with Posky's. Merged the Posky model with the default CRJ VC, I had to change the location and size of the PFD gauge and the ND gauge a little in the VC. Have to say it works quite well. It seems a little over powered on take off, but i just use lower power settings below 10,000 ft. Approach and landing are really good. I think this would be your best CRJ option right now.
