January 28, 201214 yr ...and in a slightly more appropriate place this time, albeit still off topic, but I just have to, I'm bursting...!What an incredibly bizarre 2012 this is turning into, and it's still only January...As for the robbery, previously posted, no movement. No word yet about getting my FSX PC replaced. As a very convoluted, but direct result of the robbery though, and too complicated to explain, Two days ago, I made contact with a daughter I haven’t seen since she was 14 months old, and thought I’d never see again. She’s now 28 years old and I'm 51Things are VERY tentative, and have much shaky ground ahead, BUT... I don’t care how many high tech PC’s get stolen if this is the net result.I’m sorry to post here. It’s just I’m bubbling over and it needs to go somewhere – right now! January 28, 201214 yr Good luck m8, similar thing happened to my dad last year...well mum/dad live in crete now and one day i got a recorded letter through my door here in london from a young lady claiming to be my half sisterwhich i found really weird as dad was always quiet about his past...anyway turns out she is infact his daughter who he hadnt seen for 35 years and she had been looking for him for years but as they moved about 8 yearsago she had little chance...but ironicly me and the missus moved into a house and just put oursrlves on the electrol roll and bang...the letter turned up, weve spoke on the phone but not met yet, but shes been to Crete to meet herdad and its like they have never been apart!Funny thing was mum got upset which i thought fair enough him with another woman and when i asked her whats wrong she simply said "yeah im fine love but just so you and your brother know, hes got another 4 kids out there somwhere!, i dont think they invented the condom when your dad was young!"So i wait for the letters!!!Good luck and happy bonding. Chris Howard

February 24, 201214 yr Wow, reminds me of this old Daoist story:This farmer had only one horse, and one day the horse ran away. The neighbors came to condole over his terrible loss. The farmer said, "What makes you think it is so terrible?"A month later, the horse came home--this time bringing with her two beautiful wild horses. The neighbors became excited at the farmer's good fortune. Such lovely strong horses! The farmer said, "What makes you think this is good fortune?"The farmer's son was thrown from one of the wild horses and broke his leg. All the neighbors were very distressed. Such bad luck! The farmer said, "What makes you think it is bad?"A war came, and every able-bodied man was conscripted and sent into battle. Only the farmer's son, because he had a broken leg, remained. The neighbors congratulated the farmer. "What makes you think this is good?" said the farmer.
