January 31, 201214 yr If I put my legs in manually on yhe fmc everthing for the most part is good. However sometimes when I put in a sid and star the leg program comes up with a gap saying distination route ended it shows the 4 squares. sometimes ive been able to move the waypoint up and it works but not all the time plus you cant delete it. Whats the trick to make it flow when the "Then" and squares come up?

January 31, 201214 yr This is called a route discontinuity or disco This is very common. If the route is correct, you will have to line select the next waypoint and put it place of the boxes. Thats all. Quick look with google comes up with this. http://code.google.c...teDiscontinuity or http://www.fsvisions.nl/downloads/MikeRayV12I7.pdfRegards Joost de Wit Edited January 31, 201214 yr by joostdewit Regards, Joost de Wit

February 1, 201214 yr Commercial Member This isn't a problem, it's completely normal - the FMC always puts a discontinuity in between the enroute section and the STAR and between the STAR and the approach unless there's a common waypoint shared between the two. February 1, 201214 yr Discos are also expected if you have vectors in the SID/STAR. You don't need to close those up. Matt Cee
February 1, 201214 yr Commercial Member At the risk of being called a backseat mod, would you two knock it off? One guy was simply telling the guy to follow a forum rule.I call that looking out. I know I'm a sarcastic and sardonic wench around here sometimes, but some of ya'll need to lighten up when people suggest other people follow the rules. Sometimes they didn't know or never saw the sticky! Kyle Rodgers
February 1, 201214 yr Next time, you can't upselect to close the discontinuoty, please make a screenshot of it. Always interesting for the rest of us.Bert Van Bulck
