A year away from today....

... FLIGHT will most certainly have showed it's true potential, quality, and a proof of concept to be followed by thecompetitors, if any real competitors remain....I am starting to figure out where from most of the negative posts on FLIGHT may well stem from...Ah! Again, just in case you haven't read other posts of mine, I am not a beta tester, and while I have been a long time user ofELITE, MSFS, and xplane 8/9, but mostly a Condorsoaring and PS1 (future PSX addict) fan, I must admit that I can onlyunderstand MS's move, and support it.I'de rather have what I am already able to see in youtube, than to have to restart and mess around with a myriad of add-ons...If Apple once decided to market their own flight simulation it would certainly be in this line too...Well, we will see in a year... I will save the link to this post for posterity... :-)

Good plan jcomm. At least you won't need an advanced degree in FSE (Flight Simmulation Engineering) with 10 years internship in Applied Tweakology to be able to practise in accordance with the regulations of the College of Flight Simmulationists.Kind regards,

proof of concept
Indeed, we shall see.. Although the fact that Microsoft has had to post on their Facebook page to ask people to refrain from using bad language (about their product) isn't a great omen.

is that really the case? amazing since MS could have easily stopped that bad language...

They may be "mild" but they are certainly just as stubbornly ignorant!

Isn't a great omen about Microsoft, or about the people that feel the need to use bad language in a very public media setting?

    • Microsoft Flight Well, for starters, it's Ms., not Mr. :-) Hi, I'm the new community manager. Your questions aren't being ignored, but I'm just getting up to speed on the game and the community and learning what information is confidential and what isn't. (And at the moment I'm pretty busy sorting through the comments to find the non-family friendly ones in case any minors visit our page.) Please be patient: there's a lot of information and history for me to absorb. Thanks! Yesterday at 2:30pm · Like · drP8vlvSl_8.gif 3

They respond... at least the new manager does.

One year away from today, XP11 will be out, and STILL not look as good as FSX...

Just noticed they've removed all the negative comments and closed ratings on their YouTube videos, damage control is in full swing.

I don't blame them. I don't think they were expecting such a strong backlash, hopefully this means we'll be getting some more concrete information on their future plans for Flight soon.
