February 15, 201214 yr What's with the bloom hate here?I've run it on both my old HP dv7, and my new Asus G74sx. No problems at all.I can post my settings if you want them (or go find time to get a screencap for you to see if you actually like it). I don't understand some of the comments here. By default, FSX doesn't shade enough at all. The fact that I can see the ground in the middle of the night west of DC is an indicator of that. If you don't believe me, you can meet me at JYO tonight and I'll take you up for a spin. You're not going to see a thing other than random house/town lights unless it's cloudless and a full moon. Please could you direct me to where you got your d3d... (or whatever the file is called). I mean which one are you using? also, I'll need your settings. I love the ENBseries, and I'm willing to give it another try. Just send me your settings and the files.Appreciate. Chidiebere Anyahara

February 15, 201214 yr Chidiebere here you go:http://www.4shared.c...s_For_MSFS.html Thanks a lot, Dimitrij. Just one question, Did Boris finally make an FSX specific one, is this it? Just curious. Also, Kyle, if you could show me your settings, I'll be most grateful. Chidiebere Anyahara

February 15, 201214 yr Author Thanks a lot, Dimitrij. Just one question, Did Boris finally make an FSX specific one, is this it? Just curious. Also, Kyle, if you could show me your settings, I'll be most grateful.Yes Please. I'd like to check out the settings too. I'm "this" close to trying ENB out.Rgds, Ryzen 9 9950X3D @ 5.6Ghz + Corsair Nautilus Water Cooler - 64Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz - ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16Gb - Samsung G9 Odyssey 49 inch 5120x1440 Monitor - ASUS Crosshair X870E - Win 11 Pro - MSFS 2020 - 3 x NVMe M.2 1Tb - Fractal North XL Case "Tertia Optio, Latebra Factum" Steve Summers
February 15, 201214 yr The ENBSeries which are used for MS are in fact for GTA San Andreas. The *.ini file which is provided there has a lot of bloom. Now to wait for Kyle to upload his *.ini file. And guys, write back how is it for you, does it work fine?I have no problems. Dmitrij Nazarenko
February 15, 201214 yr Author Another important question that I haven't been able to source from Boris' website (ENB) is;Does ENB support Stereoscopic 3D? If it doesn't I'm screwed and won't be able to use it. However, if it does it'll make for interesting viewing.Rgds, Ryzen 9 9950X3D @ 5.6Ghz + Corsair Nautilus Water Cooler - 64Gb Corsair Vengeance DDR5 6000Mhz - ASUS RTX 5070Ti 16Gb - Samsung G9 Odyssey 49 inch 5120x1440 Monitor - ASUS Crosshair X870E - Win 11 Pro - MSFS 2020 - 3 x NVMe M.2 1Tb - Fractal North XL Case "Tertia Optio, Latebra Factum" Steve Summers
February 16, 201214 yr I also forgot to ask, Dimitrij, do you switch back and forth into windowed mode? do you do a lot of instant replays? I'm asking because those seem to be the most of enbseries' enemies. Chidiebere Anyahara
February 16, 201214 yr The CTD's associated with using ENB Series are random and uncontrollable. I've heard that using very old drivers (180.xx) can solve the issues. It didn't for me...If anyone is interested in a stable bloom program that has more potential and is easier to use with a simple UI, use FXAA. --Nvidia cards only--http://www.assembla....inject/documentUse the latest one. Beware that image IQ may be effected negatively. Srdan Word Not Allowed showed screenies that prove AA quality was slightly lost when using FXAA injection. This loss of IQ can be remedied by tweaking the FXAA UI settings, and I'm confident when I say I've got it up and running with no IQ loss. Also, FPS are not effected at all.I'd hate for my post to be lost with that video critique. Your URL doesn't work, Zach. But your proposition is very interesting, I've been looking for such a thing a long time, as my ENB flukes out each time I minimise to windows.. screen stays black and sound continues to play.

I'm asking because those seem to be the most of enbseries' enemies.[Alt]+[Enter] works very well for me, no problems were detected. As for replays I dunno, I don't do 'em. Dmitrij Nazarenko

It's "/documents". It will work. Best regards Cristiano Mueller
February 16, 201214 yr Ioan;please add an "s" in "/document". It's "/documents". It will work.Thanks Chris, It's working now.
February 16, 201214 yr Thanks Chris, It's working now. You're welcome, Ioan. I also liked the Zach's idea. (Thanks Zach!) I'll try tonight at home. If stable, and the graphics near the ENB, goodbye "black screen". Best regards Cristiano Mueller
February 16, 201214 yr Commercial Member Sorry for the delay, guys. I've been spending my evenings fixing my car (four new rotors and pads since Sunday, in the little amount of time between when I get home and when I lose daylight), and by then I'm hungry, and then I'm tired, and then I pass out. Rinse. Repeat.Alas, car is now done, so I'll fire up the sim tonight, grab some screens, and post them later in the evening (along with the settings). Kyle Rodgers

If stable, and the graphics near the ENB, goodbye "black screen".Just to make sure, the picture I linked is working "as is"?Anyway, yes. Stability is back when ditching ENB for this program. It also offers a few more options. Through the FXAA_Tool.exe, click on the following tabs and uncheck the "on/off" box: Sepia, Technicolor, and if you like, ToneMap. The rest is very much up to your personal taste. I prefer a very subtle effect.Sounds like a normal day!
