February 14, 201214 yr Well, with the short field package, a LOT of adrenaline, and some serious guts, I would land there in a heartbeat! :(
February 14, 201214 yr Author That was a quick reply and am still trying to post the second linkhttp://youtu.be/ShymnrNbQuo Regards Nixon Thomas

February 14, 201214 yr Commercial Member That was a quick reply and am still trying to post the second link Awesome video. It conceals a very dangerous environment in which very talented pilots have lost their life. False horizons, up- and downdrafts, fast changing mountain weather and tailwind landings (3:40) all make this a job for very talented pilots. What a beautiful country! February 14, 201214 yr So why would you want to do that if you would not in real life? Thats no place for a 737. Unless you like to practice overruns. Why not go into short strips for a 737 that you would do in real life like Aspen or Santa Ana when heavy. Marc Lynn

February 14, 201214 yr I could do that.....except the flying left handed thing!!!! WOW, what great videos, that guy is nuts...If you sit left seat, won't your left hand be handling the yoke while your right hand moves the throttles? Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory. The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire. To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune. There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you. It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
February 14, 201214 yr I thought these two videos would be of interest to all the aviation enthusiasts who lurk round herehttp://youtu.be/ShymnrNbQ Some nice flying shown there. However, none of these places is really suited for putting down a 737. Maybe these strips would be considered when facing an emergency. Dave P. Woycek
February 14, 201214 yr So why would you want to do that if you would not in real life?Simple... Because you can. This isn't real life, you can do whatever you want. If you want to have every single part of every flight true to life, you can.If you like to spice things up a bit to test your skills, you can.The shortest landing I did was London City in an -800... And I thought they had a short strip. I'll have to give the ones above a try! Name available upon request
