May 14, 201313 yr Ok, I just uploaded it under FSX Gauges. It should be called "Carenado P46T Malibu G500 Mod by bliksimpie". It just went up as of this post, so give it a day for it to show up. Instructions/pics included.
May 15, 201313 yr Unless I've got it wrong, the upload didn't go? Gregg Seipp "A good landing is when you can walk away from the airplane. A great landing is when you can reuse it." i9 64GB RAM, GTX-5090
May 16, 201313 yr search for "Piper P46T Malibu - G500 Mod" It's in the lib right now: http://library.avsim.net/search.php?SearchTerm=Piper+P46T+Malibu+-+G500+Mod+&CatID=root&Go=Search Just an FYI... The way Avsim handels uploads (which is great, and well managed), even I wont know the link/name of the file until it's approved.

May 16, 201313 yr Yea, the Mod is really good, and fixes everything people had peeves about. The only thing that is "odd"; the first time you open the PFD in the pop-up, everything may freeze for a couple seconds... but it wont do it again after that.
May 21, 201313 yr The only reason leaving me away from the JetProp is the lack of DME. Is there a way to add an DME readout on the PFD (source NAV 1 or NAV 2) ? Regards, Raphael Beaud

Regards, Raphael Beaud I do not believe the real G500 has a DME readout. Distance to waypoint, yes, but DME no. The "modified G500" however has a DME readout NAV1 or NAV2 which can be activated by clicking on the memory card slot, (see picture). Personally, I rely on the readout on the RXP GNS530.. Bert
May 21, 201313 yr Great! Thx for the info, I would be very interested in the modified G500 as well :-) Regards, Raphaël B.
