March 1, 201214 yr Do you have an ICAO code or a screenshot, Johnny? I'm looking for things to fly the C208 and JetProp, that's why I'm asking. My JetProp has reached Africa now, but the C208 is free.Mountain Air is "2NC0". It Aerosoft Dangerous Airport 1 scenery. Johnny Rosario
March 1, 201214 yr Author Thanks, Johnny. Seems like I have to take a closer look at that one. As said, the C208 may go there.
March 1, 201214 yr I took a look at Mountain Air today. My first thought was it was a great place for a vacation flight if only there was my private mansion there. It looked a little tight for a Malibu but I will give it a go. The aerial shot of the real 2NC0 showed a PC-12 parked beside the runway. The default scenery was the strip only, so I looked for some freeware scenery addons. I found one file at Flightsim.com called 2nc0_x.zip. It added a huge hotel and a house and some trees. There was no parking area added that showed in the aerial photo with the file. It looks like a beautiful place to fly in and out of. How does the Aerosoft scenery compare with real life 2NC0, Johnny?
March 1, 201214 yr Wow. I checked out the Aerosoft website. The aerial pictures of Mountain Air look nice. I might need to get the Dangerous Airports so I have a nice place to have a virtual vacation!
March 2, 201214 yr Author I've been back from Africa, visited Menorca, then Cannes and later went to Italy. Cannes had a nice circle-to-land approach.Leaving Menorca. That's the DME arc on departure.Approaching Cannes with a bit of haze over the coast.Max fuel I can take are some 50% as I'm flying with two heavy folks in front, their ladies in the back and quite some baggage. So my trips are not that long, but always start at max GW. Gives me some 2000 fpm (later decreasing) at 140 kts climb speed in the hot summer weather I've set up.
March 2, 201214 yr CoolP,Your trips may be shorter, but they are probably more realistic than two guys always flying around on full tanks. I say if you have extra seats, fill 'em!Bill
March 2, 201214 yr Author That's the spirit. :( But quite a touchy weight situation on the JetProp, huh?
March 2, 201214 yr I just finished a test flight from KFHR to KTTD. I added four passengers totaling 440 lbs plus 130 lbs of cargo. I had about 210 lbs of fuel in each wing to stay under weight. The purpose of the flight was test out bliksimpie's G430/530 updates from this post-http://forum.avsim.net/topic/363470-that-bright-gps530-and-430-now-corrected/They worked great.

March 6, 201214 yr Author Nice ones again. Enjoy the rw trip. :( I had the older Bonanza releases running lately, plus the A36. But I'm missing my turbine now, so I'll do it as citationjet does and take care of the JetProp.
March 12, 201214 yr Would anyone mind if I post a vid here? KEGE to KPVU. I got all the cuts, and am ready to make the vid. should be short.
March 12, 201214 yr Author I would like it, HawkDsl. :( Shouldn't harm anyone if you give the link or even that single video window.I'm currently on some other prop planes but I'll surely be back soon on the JetProp to get a fresh load of turbine atmosphere.
