Yeah sorry PMDG 200-300 models. The majestic 400 looks stunning. Lots of new features for fsx. Thy can do a lot I realism too. Definitely up there with PMDG so I wouldn't doubt them just cause they're not PMDG. Definitely one I'm waiting for this year. Fingers crossed there will be an sdk so we can have fs2crew with it. Will the Magestic support navigraph navdata updates? And how is the virtual cockpit at night? Good night lighting with backlit gauges, and a separate dome switch?
HelloThe old 300 had a navdata converter to enable the Navigraph Feelthere data to be used so I imagine this one will also be updatable. It says this on the official site "Now every lamp in cockpit is working and is controled by its proper switch."There are more night shots here:http://samdimdesign....creenshots.htmlhttp://198.164.146.9...8c176a41c6b61c6http://198.164.146.9...8c176a41c6b61c6

While there is still quite a bit of work to be completed, the progress is coming along quite well. Oleksiy was kind enough to provide a log of completed items thus far:http://198.164.146.97/fanda/Forum/viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2546&sid=2dbd8d701ab76512d2e7b65cb7c6a037&start=60#p8011

great news, thanks. Will there be working windshield wipers and accompanied sounds in the vc, also rain effects on the vc?

dont quote me on this but im sure there will be. its a high fidelity simulation

also rain effects on the vc?
That is not a developers lacking its an FSX thing.

ArDee

No, there are many addons with windshield water effects. Real Air Duke is one
HelloName me more than three ?Be aware that Majestic are not primarily into eyecandy, their goal is system fidelity over everything elseIf it is effects like rain on the VC windscreen you are after you may be disappointed .But if you want realistic turbine behaviour and flight model using a flight model external to FSX (http://jsbsim.sourceforge.net/) this will be the one to get.

Majesticsoftware is not a eye-candy product, but more geared to procedural and systems simulation. I don't see VC raindrops adding to the realism of "procedural or systems simulation" I am sure there will be enough in the cocpit to keep you busy than to worry about raindrops, like icing effects, etc, etc.

Could somebody please delete the childish argument and leave this thread to focus on the topic, the (hopefully) excellent Majestiq Q400

Well gents the discussion of VC raindrops is neither here nor their as far as I am concerned, quite frankly it is a waste of time because I am yet to see a FS9/FSX aircraft that truly represents rain/drops in the VC as in real life so what's the point. The bantering/blame game is also un-necessary guys, it is a simulation, lets try and enjoy it for what it is capable of, even if somethings are not modeled., for I am sure there are going to be the happy crowd and the moaning crowd when the project is complete.
