I downloaded Flight last night and have to admit that it looks very nice. I bought the Hawaii addon (what a sucker!) but can't seem to find the hanger or do anything except the initial mission where you fly around the baloons. I just have the option to start the mission?

The first two missions (the balloon one and the water landing one) are tutorials which are designed to get you started. You have to complete them before you can do anything else. Once you've done them, you'll be able to use Free Flight or fly the other missions.

They do not take long to do either, about 5 minutes each. THen you never have to worry about doing them again.

to those who bought hawaii: did you do anything to have the remaining islands show up in Flight? Did you logon to Live? I am asking because I managed to install Flight on my laptop and also the expansion pack but whenever I start Flight the other islands are still greyed out and the welcome screen offers me to buy the expansion. what I already did. So again, do I need to longon to live to get the other islands into the game? I have issues behind a firewall to logon to my live account.

Yes I think you need to log into Live so it can validate the purchase and unlock the extra islands.

I have the same issue as DAD, I have purchased it and downloaded it but it does not show up in my game! I have logged in using my Live account but to no avail! It is so irritating as I have completed all the challenges and missions already!

I had this problem and I ended up having to buy a new router. I couldn't log into Live from within the game so none of the extra or purchaused content was showing up. I tried everything to get it working and then in an unrelated forum I saw a post about getting a new router solved XBox log in problems. My router was very old so I went off to Walmart last night and got a $70.00 Belkin N router that claimed it was good for streaming video and online gaming. Once I got it installed and setup I was able to log into Live from within the game and all the extra content showed up.

I have the Hawaii DLC showing up fine in my Map but I can't start any Aerocache Hunts outside the main island in the free download. I've gone to the purchase screen and hit redownload and saw it confirm being installed in the sim, restarted and still no luck! Anyone else having trouble with aerocache hunts for the hawaii dlc?Wow, nevermind - I'm just an idiot that can't read directions fully - it told me to purchase the Hawaii pack and find this one Aerocache first. Apparently this first one unlocks all the others. Was the same in the beta but I forgot and wanted to collect some new ones right from the start. Wish they had taken out the DLC text in the requirements tho!

I am logged in, I see the previous purchase in Flight, I do click redownload and it does download, I see the hawaii.pak in the installation directory but still I cannot select any of the other islands?! is there a way to preserve the download of the expansion pack? so far it downloads, installs automatically is then is gone. would love to try a manual installation though.

I had originally installed this in my D drive and it didn't work, but I then created a folder in my D drive called /Xlive and re-downloaded and installed it into this folder, and to my surprise it had worked. But before installing it this way try emptying your game for windows live client cache.I hope this helps

Hm. I am not asked where to install Hawaii. It always installs automatically. Which is also a dedicated drive since I installed Flight in my Z drive.

Anyone comment on the included plane in the Hawaii add-on? Do I need to download (i.e. buy) the Maule also?

The Vans R6 is included with the Hawaii DLC, the Maule is not and if you want it, you will have to buy it separately. Hope that helps.

The Maule is a separate purchase ckelly 14.
