March 2, 201214 yr Author HiThanks for response, I have had a look for what you suggested but it seems everyone is using FSX, I'm still using FS9 but I am using 32bit sys. March 2, 201214 yr Memory problems are almost always due to addon scenery, not your computer itself. Disable the sceneries you recently added one by one to discover the culprit. Try to do the same flight on the same day, same time as the problem occurs. There is a chance it might be AI a/c, so you culd start by turning AI off first, but i bet it is one of your sceneries. If you open task manager you can monitor the amount FS9 is using and it should keep on rising before a crash.Peter Edited March 2, 201214 yr by pschlute Peter Schluter

March 3, 201214 yr Author Thanks again for replies, very much appreciated, I don't know if I'm technically minded enough to do the 3 gb switch but thanks anyway, I think I may have to try a few lower settings and see where I am after that for now, I just love the sceneries and more technical aircraft which is obviously the problem, I thank you all again and shall have to trying a few changes :(Cheers

March 3, 201214 yr Author Hi thereNo I don't have that installed but I did put NL2000 on briefly but thought better of it as my computer is quite old, have fully deleted it so don't think that is an issue, still trying to work through this which is very annoyingRegardsKeemoosabi
March 5, 201214 yr Author Hi pschluteThanks for the advice very much appreciated,I think the problem seems to have occured since installing Keflavik and EGNX (UK2000) sceneries, I try to fly from East Mids just lately and I can get so far but then the Flight Sim crashes saying No virtual memory but how do I rectify or check which one is causing problem??I'm not that technical when it comes to the ins and outs of the Flight Sim really and have always I suppose just got by.... I know sad really but I just want to fly my favourite planes and use realistic sceneries and any technical stuff goes straight over my head so to speak. If anyone can help I would be very grateful!!Hope to hear from someone soonRegardsKeemoosabi

First establish a day/time/airport where you consistently get a crash. This is important.2. Then turn AI down to 0% and repeat the flight if you still get crash it is scenery.3. Disable scenery in "scenery library"...and restart FS9. Do this for both sceneries until you can establish if one...or both cause a crash...then report back. We will get you sorted.ps What if any AI do you use? Peter Schluter
March 5, 201214 yr Author Hello againWell I tried a flight today and just as I began taxiing FS9 crashed again with Virtual memory problem, I restarted and turned down settings from top setting for density to next down and tried again and to my surprise I completed the flight??I will try again tomorrow and see what happens if I get the chance, I'm hoping it won't happen again but who knows??Just to let you know I use Ultimate traffic for FS9 and don't get me started with that program, can never update or change anything, not impressed, probably my computer again but really can't be bothered with UT!Thanks again for all the help very much appreciated,RegardsKeemoosabi
