March 16, 201214 yr Browse to it exactly like any other addon scenery, Johnny - through the Settings -> Scenery Library. It's just another pathname. If you have a couple of normal HDD's, plus a single SSD - you would be better to put the scenery onto the SSD and move FSX onto a HDD, with the OS on a second HDD. i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
March 16, 201214 yr Yes, it is easy to add other scenery. Go to the scenery library, then select "ADD" new scenery. Just browse to the scenery, and add it.jim
March 18, 201214 yr Author Sorry more questions....So does Ultimate Terrain X work well with vanilla FSX? Why or why not?If I buy Ground Environment X, will I be accurately be able to see my house from above?
March 19, 201214 yr I think that the very 1st add on I would get is TrackerIR. There are some free adaptions of this, but I don't know how they work.Lynn Lynn Fisher
March 19, 201214 yr So if you have Ground Environment X, is Ultimate Terrain X really needed? UTX sounds like stuff they were too lazy to put into GEX, or separated on purpose to earn more money.Maybe you should read both products descriptions before writing statements like these... Regards, Hugo Bravo LPPT
March 19, 201214 yr Author Maybe you should read both products descriptions before writing statements like these...It was meant as more of a question than a statement. Besides, they could of easily combined UTX in with GEX if they wanted. They are not dumb, marketing more piece meal products produces more revenue; can't blame them for wanting that.
March 19, 201214 yr And FSX could be sold with all the addons there is for it in one package for 5000€ (just approximated the value of all the addons there are). Wanna buy it?You are obviously not seeing the big picture.
