March 8, 201214 yr OK, Folks,I can't hold off any longer. Do any of you own an iPad or iPhone? Well, if you do, there's a marvelous little app that enables you to view any US sectional or terminal chart right off the internet. And if you want a faster presentation, you can you can download the charts right to your device and view them offline. But wait, there's more! With this app you can also download high and low altitude enroute charts, including departure and arrival charts and approach plates. The cost of the app is nominal, and the charts are included at no extra cost. In addition you can create course lines, i.e. flight plans, right on the charts. The app I am referring to is FS Kneeboard, designed and created by our own frequent contributor to this forum, Noah Bryant. Noah, you are the epitome of restraint; it must be killing you to hear all these questions asked about sources for charts and not say anything. I know it's because advertising on the forums is not allowed, so I'll spill the beans for you. Now I bring this up not necessarily to help your sales, but I think the members would like to know about your product, and they would be greatly aided in figuring how to navigate their way around Hawaii! I urge you to check out his site. You'll find a link in his signature.I myself use this app and love it! I'll say no more.Tom Murphy
March 8, 201214 yr Mufman: Thanks for the tip. I was thinking about the IPad and Jeppesen Charts (Way too expensive, just to get the charts), but Your suggestion is much better, let’s stick together fellow simmers. I guess next DLC is going to have to wait Ramón. Time, is the one thing no one can buy.

There are a couple of other topics exactly like this going on right now where I want to interject my product to greatly help people out but I don't want to get myself in trouble. To me, it's not about the tiny bit of money I make from the sales but being able to show someone a really awesome tool that they can use.But a word of warning. Please DO NOT buy FS Kneeboard right now. FS Kneeboard 2 will be released very soon and has a lot of awesome new features.Take a look here:http://forum.avsim.net/topic/365148-fs-kneeboard-2-announced/page__fromsearch__1 Noah Bryant

But right now there are great resources for charts in Hawaii and Alaska"Mexico/Central America IFR Charts (Low/High Altitude)" =)Will there be a bridge pointing south, with charts, SID, STAR? Ramón.
