This might be unrealistic but on vatsim over the atlantic (with no atc) onboard the PMDG 747 without any tailwinds I got up to 630 knots or mach .90
Why wouldn't it be realistic? i was flying mach .90 my self because i had a meeting to attend with the speed i was first flying i would arrive at amsterdam at the time the meeting would have begon so i increased the speed to arrive ahead of schedule haha.

Best I've done is PIT-BOS in a CRJ RW. It was 622kts. Just had another buddy that got 668kts the other day. FS I have done well over 700kts over the sea of Japan in the jet stream.

They wouldnt allow you to fly at mach 0.9 in the NAT system

I did say might ;)But that is quite impressive though that we can do that and ironically I did that speed to the same destination
