March 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member I've seen examples of 700+ in real life on the 777 over the pacific - you get into the jetstream and it can really make you go. Ryan MaziarzFor fastest support, please submit a ticket at http://support.precisionmanuals.com
March 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member There was a good thread over on pprune like this with photos of the ND as proof. I've seen some crazy tailwinds 200kts plus while jumpseating on flights over Saudi flying east. Can't remember what the ground speed was. Rob Prest

Yes!I remember a flight last year coming back from NRT -> YVR. flight is usually around 10 hours. We did it in 7.15I'd feel bad for west bound flights that day.cheers, Sante Sottile

March 6, 201214 yr My personal best is 570kt with a 128kt tailwind. Of course an hour and a half later (on the return leg) we couldn't even get it up to 320. Of course that would happen on the go home leg.Paul
March 6, 201214 yr I've seen a few FDX and UPS MD-11's at 720kt's gs in the jetstream west of YYD from PANC. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024
March 6, 201214 yr Probably 8-10 kilometres per hour for me, but then I was being chased down the street by a Doberman on foot! Matthew Bellette

Recent flight YSSY - KLAX we were close to that for the first hour or two out of Sydney (Delta 777). On track for a 9 hour flight instead of 13...but slowed down :(Richard Shumack
March 6, 201214 yr This might be unrealistic but on vatsim over the atlantic (with no atc) onboard the PMDG 747 without any tailwinds I got up to 630 knots or mach .90 Joe Barton
