Regarding whether the whole world will be modeled

I can't remember who said that again..."Everything is there, locked but there" ....if I remember who said that I'll let you know.

I have heard that the entire world is there, but in low res--and new areas (first being Alaska) will come out as DLC with higher res. The rumor says, the world is there, BUT, as there is no aircraft in the present set that could get you from, say Hilo Intl to LAX or whatever, you can't travel to it. Dont know if its true.
When Alaska comes out we'll find out soon enough, since that will have land boundaries with places not included in the scenery pack.

If MS releases an average of 1 million square miles/month, the entire planet will be rendered in less then 5 years. :)
OR, they might even release more content over the coming months than we even know of. I think that they have a very well planned release schedule....The MS marketing team is very tuned into the community. They know what we will buy....

but they do not know how many will NOT buy - the DLC toxic cocktail ! as with this model they failed to impress many.

I have to disagree with you Aresenal. I see many people when I join multi-player games flying the RV on the free island so you know they bought the pack. I have had to dodge the mustang when on sight seeing missions and not everyone that uses flight uses pedals or flight sticks. Flight runs on all 3 systems in my house, from my 5 year old, to my wife and myself playing it. I have friends that never played the FS seriers cause it was too complcated but enjoy flight for its ease of jumping into it. I myself go through the proper starting and shutdown proceedures but my wife and little guy just use the quick start and away they go, he tends to crash a lot but he has fun playing it.I own FS2004 and FSX and I never touch FSX cause I find the fun has been drained out of with so much know how on the tech side. With flight MS has opened it up to new customers they would have never had and more profits. MS has a gem and if they play their cards right, like with AOE Online they can be making money and continue the development of the game. MS is not stupid and they have seen how well the addons for FSX has sold and done but most people have a max of 1600 pts or 20 bucks for most addons and that is pushing it to the extreme. DLC is here to stay and will grow in the years to come. Most pay to play games are free to play now with their own stores to add more to your gaming experience but its what you want to add to it so you get to play the game you want, not the game that is forced on you out of a box.

I haven't seen any sales figures yet on Flight's DLC. If you have, I would like the link please.
