They're actually very good. It's a little scripted, but it's a computer after all. We haven't really invented computer sentience that isn't scripted (they take over the world in just about every movie we've written in that genre), so that's what we're left with.It's awesome to be able to speak commands to the FO and have him accomplish them while you're handflying, among just about everything else.
