March 11, 201214 yr Hi all,First time using voice control,I attempted my first flight today and I could not push back the aircraft. I tried all the options listed in the commands for the start crew including the FLT interphone on the captain's side. Ground crew will respond to "ground from cockpit" but not "cockpit to ground". The ground crew will also respond to cockpit from ground with out pushing the FLT interphone button on the captains side and turning off the service interphone on the overhead. It is my understanding that they should not respond since I am not configured properly. After start crew responds I say "we are ready for pushback and engine start" and it is confirmed that I said that in the green bar on top but nothing else happens and this is where I'm stuck. Please help. Two smaller issues is during the BEFORE START CHECKLIST the FO tells me to check the passenger signs switch again after I confirmed it is on and he says my CDU preflight is incomplete when I am very sure it is. What triggers the FO to say this?Thank you,Chuck Chuck Biggins

Also which panel state are you using ? Damien WeekesCaptain 737NG / A319/20/21
March 11, 201214 yr Author Hi Damien, It was cold and dark on load and I think I did cold and dark again just to be sure before opened the main panel under the standby attitude indicator hotspot. I will try it again now from cold and dark on load and not doing it again.Thank you. Chuck Biggins

March 11, 201214 yr For me, If I use the FLT button on the captain's audio panel and say "Cockpit to ground", it works every time. If I use the aft panel as outlined in the instructions, it doesn't work at all. Trying to debug an issue has to be tough when the results are so different. Curt Branch

March 11, 201214 yr Author It worked for the first time but I'm not sure what did it because the overhead and FLT on the center console was configured. Cockpit to ground is still unresponsive. The FO did not yell at me for the CDU preflight or the passengers signs this time. Worked as advertised but I did not do anything different leading up to it. I will try it again after I land. At cruise altitude and loving it. Chuck Biggins
March 11, 201214 yr Commercial Member Guys,I just updated to the manual to ensure it's more clear.... the manual was a tab ambiguous. You must use the Captain's side Audio Control Panel, not the overhead or FO's ACP. Problem: I can't talk to the Engineers or Start Crew. I'm using the correct voice commands.Solution: Make sure the NGX is setup properly first as shown below so that you can communicate via the Service Interphone: AFT OVERHEAD PANEL - ENSURE THE SERVICE INTERPHONE SWITCH IS SET TO 'ON'.[/indent]]CAPTAIN'S AUDIO CONTROL PANEL - ENSURE 'SVC' IS PRESSED IN AND THE VOLUME IS UPNote: YOU MUST USE THE CAPTAIN'S AUDIO CONTROL PANEL!!!!!!! NOT THE OVERHEAD OR FO'S AUDIO CONTROL PANEL.OTHER OPTION: Use the FLT Interphone instead on the CAPTAIN'S PANEL AUDIO CONTROL PANEL. This is simpler, but it's less common in the real-world. Press in the FLT Mic Selector switch as shown below. The Service Interphone switch does "not" need to be on. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
March 11, 201214 yr I have even had some challenges with this issue during beta, but the above procedure ensures it works. I like pressing the ground call button on the overhead and the ground crew will come on in a few seconds. Joe Porter
March 16, 201214 yr Hey Bryan, hope you can help me with my issue. I do have the problem of not getting to the ground crew, although everything is set up correctly.I tried both methods of connecting to ground, but both won't work for me.a ) service interphone ON, captains audio panel on the pedestral set to SVC and volume up. nothingb )service interphone OFF, captains audio panel on the pedestral set to FLT and volume up. nothingI still get the green band that confirms, that my microphone is ok and that I use the right commands and even that the computer understands them.I have SP1c installed.EDIT: I thought I read some issue with the standard frequency, so I changed all frequencies on the pedestral. No luck with that... :Thinking:EDIT: Problem was between the headset. I haven't been at the right step in the flow to connect to the ground. Daniel Gravanis - EDDH Many happy landings and always three green!

April 21, 201214 yr The same is happening to me. When I say Cockpit to ground the green band appears ok but nothing happens. Everything is set according to the manual When I say Ground from Cockpit I got response, but when i say "We are ready for pushback and engine start" nothing happens again. What should I do???
April 21, 201214 yr Commercial Member Which version of FS2Crew do you have installed? It'll say when the Main Panel opens. B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
